 Using his flagship character, Byran, Knee's journey through this tournament could be said to be quite smooth. He managed to sweep all the matches he played with a win. In the final round, the player from South Korea managed to beat his compatriot, Mulgold, with a narrow score of 3-2.

 This victory at the EVO Japan event also broke his fast at the EVO stage. The last time he won EVO was in 2022 at the EVO Las Vegas edition. With these results, he has overall won 4 EVO titles throughout his career.
