Jakarta, June 16, 2025 – Exciting news for League of Legends (LoL) fans and communities in Indonesia. For the first time ever, Riot Games is launching an official national tournament titled League of Legends Nusantara Cup (LNC) 2025. This event aims to discover local talent who will represent Indonesia on the Asia-Pacific competitive stage.

Running from June to July 2025, LNC 2025 is a collaboration between Riot Games and local esports community Diffarenz by Jagad Saga. Held under the theme "Forge the Path", this tournament presents a real opportunity for Indonesian players to take their first steps into the professional League of Legends scene, both regionally and globally.

Registration and Schedule for LNC 2025

The tournament is open to all Indonesian players. Registration is available online from June 17 to June 30, 2025 via the official League of Legends Indonesia channels.

Here is the complete schedule for the League of Legends Nusantara Cup 2025:

  • Online Qualifiers: July 5–6, 2025

  • Offline Grand Final: July 27, 2025, in Jakarta (venue to be announced)

The top four teams from the qualifiers will compete for:

  • The LNC 2025 National Champion title

  • A total prize pool of IDR 20,000,000

  • A ticket to the LCP Wildcard Playoff 2025 as Indonesia's representative

A Rare Opportunity to Enter the LCP and Global Tournaments

The champion of LNC 2025 will represent Indonesia at the League of Legends Championship Pacific (LCP) Wildcard Playoff, competing alongside representatives from India & South Asia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore/Malaysia.

LCP is the premier League of Legends league for the Asia Pacific region and serves as the sole pathway to prestigious global tournaments like the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) and Worlds. This marks the first time Indonesia gains direct access to this competitive path.

“We organized this tournament because we’ve seen the massive enthusiasm and competitive spirit within the Indonesian League of Legends community. Until now, there hasn't been a proper platform to nurture this potential. Riot Games’ presence as an official partner validates and strengthens our community. LNC is the first true 'path to pro' tournament in Indonesia, and that means a lot to us.”
Kaka Jagad Subiyanto, Director of Jagad Saga (Diffarenz)

Riot Games' Commitment to Local Esports Talent

According to Resha Pradipta, Country Manager of Riot Games Indonesia & Malaysia, this tournament is a clear sign of Riot’s commitment to developing local esports talent.

“We recognize the strong passion and potential of the League of Legends community in Indonesia. That’s why we fully support this tournament through our official partnership with Diffarenz. The League of Legends Nusantara Cup is an important first step in paving the way for Indonesian players to compete on the international stage. Who knows? Maybe one day we’ll see Indonesian players or teams on the big stage at events like First Stand (FST), MSI, or even WORLDS. We want to ensure that local talent has official pathways, support, and equal opportunities to grow.”
Resha Pradipta, Riot Games

The LNC 2025 Grand Final will be held offline in Jakarta and broadcast live via the League of Legends Indonesia YouTube channel.
