1. Fan Theories!

Many One Piece fans theorized that Morgan actually Jack the Drought. This assumption came out because Jack’s silhouette has a mask akin to Morgan. But when Jack was revealed as a character, Oda laughed them who created this crazy theory. This theory resurfaced at the end of the Dressrosa arc until Zou arc when Jack appeared in human form.

2. “Mugiwara” Nickname

Mugiwara or straw hat in English is a nickname glued to Luffy. Every people everywhere now said that nickname to him. But do you know that this nickname was said by Morgan for the first time? Maybe because Luffy’s distinct feature is his straw hat, then Morgan called him “Mugiwara”.

But it’s unknown that for some reason, this nickname became viral and now Luffy referred to as “Mugiwara”. Luffy doesn’t mind being referred to as “Mugiwara” from time to time.

3. SBS One Piece

In an SBS One Piece panel, Oda stated if Morgan works in Grand Line, then he can be promoted as a lieutenant. When he encountered Luffy for the first time, Morgan served as a commander. In other words, if he stationed in Grand Line, then he can be three ranks above his current rank back then.

4. Devil Fruit

When Morgan explained to his underlings regarding devil fruits, he said that there are two devil fruits that can create fire and tsunami. Those powers are Ace’s and Shirohige’s power. Coincidentally or not, now they’re dead. This is only a trivia by Morgan.

5. The First Marine

Before we know various Marines in One Piece, Morgan became the first Marine to be shown in this series. This is because he became Luffy’s first adversary, Alvida was not a marine, but rather a pirate.

6. Morgan’s Fate

It is unknown how Morgan doing right now. Last time we saw him escaped as a prisoner by taking Helmeppo as a hostage. Before that, he also slashed down Garp who slept peacefully. Not long after that Helmeppo left him alone in the middle of the sea and he returned to his headquarter.
