Every player in battle royale games like Free Fire must equip themselves with the most suitable and optimal weapons based on their roles, especially support-type players.

4. VSS

Of all the best weapons for support-type players on this list, VSS is perhaps one of the weakest due to mere 54 damage points per bullet, which pales in comparison to the other sniper-type weapons.

However, VSS has quite a high range at 48 points and huge fire rate at 82 points, making it an ideal weapon for long range support players. Furthermore, it also has a silencer and scope equipped by default.

5. M82B

Yet another sniper-type weapon, M82B is arguably the best weapon for support-type players in Free Fire.

Unlike other sniper rifles, M82B has the ability to destroy Gloo Wall, a grenade-type weapon that generates a temporary cover to shield players from damage. Because of that, players who use M82B can play a role as a killer support.

Based on these best weapons for support-type players, one obvious thing is that support players generally perform best when using sniper-type weapons with long range in order to protect their teammates from afar.
