MPL Indonesia (also known as MPL ID) is a professional league for the game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang in Indonesia that has been running since 2018. Since Season 4, MPL Indonesia has implemented a franchise league format, where the competing teams are determined by the organizers through investment funds. Currently, MPL Indonesia has a total of 9 teams.

List of MPL ID Champions Season 1 to Season 16

1. MPL ID Season 1 Champion: NXL Team

The NXL Team was the first MLBB team to lift the MPL ID trophy. MPL ID was first held in 2018 and was attended by thousands of teams from all over Indonesia. The NXL Team won the first season of MPL Indonesia after defeating EVOS Esports in the grand final.

Now, the NXL Team has become history because the team is already disbanded.

2. MPL ID Season 2 Champion: RRQ O2

MPL ID Season 2 is the dawn of the fierce rivalry between RRQ and EVOS. This "El Clasico" took place in the final match and was won by RRQ 02. Once again, EVOS reached the grand final but did not win.

3. MPL ID Season 3 Champion: ONIC Esports

The MPL ID Season 3 champion was ONIC who was still strengthened by the five Kages; Udil, Psychoo, Sasa, Drian, and Antimage. ONIC's reign during Udil's prime became a legendary team because they never lost a single game, even ONIC was able to beat Louvre in the final match with a score of 3-0!

6. MPL ID Season 6 Champion: RRQ Hoshi

In this MPL ID Season 6, RRQ Hoshi has made history as a team that won the MPL title three times and won the MPL Indonesia match two times in a row.

7. MPL ID Season 7 Champion: EVOS Legends

This season, many surprises occurred, such as RRQ Hoshi who had to be eliminated and Bigetron Alpha made it to the final rounds. However, Bigetron Alpha had to submit to EVOS Legends and EVOS Legends managed to win the MPL title twice as a result.

8. MPL ID Season 8 Champion: ONIC Esports

In MPL ID Season 8, ONIC Esports became a team with a very consistent performance from the start of the regular season to the playoffs. ONIC Esports won MPL ID S12 after beating Geek Fam with a score of 4-2. ONIC made history as a three-peat champion, winning three seasons in a row, from MPL ID Season 10 to MPL ID Season 12. With this achievement, ONIC became the MPL ID team with the most trophies, namely 5 MPL trophies.

13. MPL ID Season 13 Champion: ONIC

Carrying the name Fnatic ONIC, Kairi and his teammates faced EVOS Glory in the grand final. After a decisive victory over EVOS, ONIC claimed their fourth consecutive championship title. With this achievement, ONIC truly lived up to their nickname as the "Sky King," seemingly unbeatable. However, in the next season, a new team would rise to challenge the throne.

14. MPL ID Season 14 Champion: Team Liquid ID

The MPL ID Season 14 playoffs were held in Bandung. Unfortunately for the Yellow Hedgehogs, Bandung didn’t bring them good luck. Kairi and team were eliminated early in the lower bracket. Meanwhile, Team Liquid—composed of rookies—stole the spotlight in MPL ID Season 14. Aeronnshikii, Widy, Yehezkiel, Faviann, and Aran led Team Liquid Indonesia (TLID) to victory, defeating RRQ Hoshi in the grand final to become champions.

15. MPL ID Season 15 Champion: ONIC

RRQ Hoshi topped the regular season standings in MPL ID Season 15. Meanwhile, strong contenders like ONIC and Team Liquid ID had underwhelming performances throughout the regular season. The turning point came during the playoffs, held once again at Jakarta International Velodrome. ONIC made a comeback from the lower bracket to the upper bracket, delivering a knockout blow to "The King of All Kings." In the grand final, ONIC crushed RRQ's championship dreams in a close 4-3 match.

16. MPL ID Season 16 Champion: ONIC Esports

In the MPL ID S16 grand finals held on Sunday (2/11), ONIC Esports faced Alter Ego. ONIC dashed AE's hopes of winning their first MPL ID title with a decisive 4-1 victory in the grand finals. This result gives ONIC another chance to win the world title at the M7 World Championship.
