AUG, the Long-Range SMG

AUG was first introduced in 1996 by an Austrian company and now produced by Steyr Mannlicher. AUG itself is an abbreviation of  Armee Universal Gewehr, which means “universal army rifle.” This weapon has tons of variants including Submachine Gun, Assault Rifle, and Light Machine Gun.

The AUG in Call of Duty Warzone is Steyr AUG A2 that uses a 5.56 NATO bullet. AUG is also used by the military forces of Austria, Australia, New Zealand, Luxembourg, Ireland, Malaysia, and Indonesian Special Police Force, Genana Brimob Polri.

AUG Main Attachment and Secondary Weapon

Because AUG excels at the long-range battle, then you can equip 622mm Long Barrel that will increase the firing distance, bullet speed, and reduce recoil so the gun is easier to control. Unfortunately, 622mm Long Barrel reduces ADS (Aim Down Sight) and the user’s movement speed.

For the optical sight, you can use Thermal Hybrid. This optic will increase your sight’s range and also speed when changing the target.

To aid you in aiming, you need a stock that increases stability. FFS Heavy Stock Pro is the right answer. Although your aiming is increased, your speed when using the optical sight is reduced.

Perks for Call of Duty Warzone AUG Loadout

For the Perks, you can use Double Time that will increase the duration of Tactical Sprint and crawling speed by 30%.

For the second Perk, you should use The High Alert. This perk will warn you when you are within the sight of your opponent.

The last perk is Battle Hardened. This Perk is not that useful when you are out in the open. But if often get inside of a building then Battle Hardened will safe you from death.

Battle Hardened is a Perk that reduces the effect of flash, stuns, and EMP. Resulting in a better response when getting attacked.

Call of Duty Warzone AUG Loadout Lethal and Tactical

Choosing the right Lethal is crucial in creating your Call of Duty Warzone loadout. You can use Thermite to put more pressure on your enemies with fire. The fire has a great effect, but there’s a delay before it’s activated. So, stay on guard until the Thermite is activated.

Then for the Tactical, you can use the Smoke Grenade. Although it doesn’t damage your opponents, Smoke Grenade can confuse your opponents --  especially when you are avoiding their attacks. This weapon can also be used when you are opening your loadout to protect you from getting spotted.
