At the "Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club 6th Live! I love You ⇆ You love Me" concert on Sunday, January 14th 2024, fans received happy news with the announcement that the Love Live! it will launch its first visual novel game. Bushiroad Games, a leading game developer, will release the visual novel game title Love Live! it's exclusive to the Nintendo Switch, with the resonant tagline, "Your school life with 12 girls, begins again."

Apart from the announcement of the new game, last Sunday's concert also introduced the 7th concert tour, as well as providing information that the latest anime trilogy which was previously announced will begin broadcast on September 6th 2024 and will mark the end of the anime story.

The main anime, Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, its first season premiered on Tokyo MX channel and streaming platforms Bandai Channel, Line Live, and YouTube in October 2020.

Following the success of the first season, the second season of this anime returns in April 2023. Crunchyroll presents this anime simultaneously with broadcast in Japan, and then presents an English dubbed version.

Not only that, Nijiyon Animation, a short anime adapted from Miyakohito's four-panel manga, is a spin off of Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Dokokai Yon-Koma, also announced that it will return with a second season on April 5th 2024.

The franchise introduced the members of the Idol Appreciation Club Nijigasaki Academy in 2017 as part of the "Perfect Dream Project" (PDP) of the hit mobile game, Love Live! School Idol Festival, developed by KLab Games and Bushiroad.

With the addition of this visual novel game, it is hoped that fans will further deepen their experience in establishing emotional connections with the passionate and musical characters in Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club.
