This manga has action, drama, comedy, and even romance, which means that this series can be enjoyed by anyone in general. The manga follows Twilight, a spy who has to build a fake family to save the world from a massive conflict.

3. Blue Lock

Blue Lock's popularity soared in 2022 for two main reasons: its incredible storyline and the 2022 FIFA World Cup. An anime adaptation of the manga also came out  this year, which boosted sales even further.

Blue Lock's storyline revolves around Yoichi Isagi, a high school student who's determined to play football at the highest level. After being eliminated from a tournament, Isagi accepts an invitation to join Blue Lock, a training program set up to find Japan's next football star.

Tokyo Revengers is a manga that has been popular for quite some time now, although the series reached an end in November 2022. The manga sold over 10 million copies and was only beaten in terms of numbers by Jujutsu Kaisen.

Tokyo Revengers follows the interesting life of Hanagaki Takemichi, a 26-year-old man who sees himself as a failure. Every day, Takemichi reminisces about his past, when he had friends and girlfriends. With seemingly no hope left, Takemichi receives a second chance after a strange incident sends him back in time.

9. Vinland Saga

Written by Makoto Yukimura, Vinland Saga is a historical seinen manga about the Vikings. The manga's riveting story has been praised by critics and fans alike.

The main protagonist of Vinland Saga is a boy named Thorfinn, who aspires to become a strong warrior like his father. Unfortunately, Thorfinn and his father find themselves in a horrific incident that leads to his father's death. After witnessing his father's demise, Thorfinn vows his revenge.

10. Chihayafuru

Chihayafuru is a josei manga that was first published in Kodansha's Be Love magazine. The manga aims to re-popularize karuta, which is why many people have taken up the sport after watching this series. This shows how influential Chihayafuru has been as a series.

The manga tells the story of Chihaya Ayase, who spends her time supporting her little sister. When Chihaya meets Arata Wataya; he manages to convince her that she could become an excellent karuta player. This triggers Chihaya to start a new chapter in her life.
