Terra Formars fans, get ready for exciting news! The 17th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine has revealed that the Terra Formars manga series by Kenichi Tachibana and Yū Sasuga will continue the story in the magazine's 18th issue which will be published on April 4th 2024.

Terra Formars will be the main star on the cover of the 18th edition, and will be presented with a color splash page. Not only that, this magazine will also include a special sticker to commemorate the return of this manga after a long hiatus.

The Terra Formars manga has been on hiatus since December 2019, with an announcement at that time alluding to health problems faced by one of its authors, Yu Sasuga. However, Kenichi Tachibana, fellow Terra Formars author, later stated via his Twitter account in August 2021 that the manga would resume once Sasuga recovered from his health problems.

During his hiatus, Tachibana also launched a new science fiction manga entitled Gigantis in Shueisha's Grand Jump magazine in August 2021, which succeeded in attracting readers' attention.

Terra Formars itself first debuted in 2011 and immediately became a popular manga among readers. The series was published by Shueisha, with the 22nd volume released in November 2019. Viz Media also released the manga in North America, giving readers in various parts of the world the opportunity to enjoy the thrilling story of Terra Formars.

Apart from manga, Terra Formars has also been adapted into various other media, including an anime series. The first anime series, adapting the Annex 1 arc, premiered in September 2014, followed by a sequel, Terra Formars Revenge, in April 2016. Additionally, the manga also inspired a two-episode OVA series adapting the Bugs 2 arc in 2014.

Not only that, Terra Formars was also made to the big screen in the form of a live-action movie which premiered in Japan in April 2016.
