The Corrode Valorant map was introduced for the first time at the VCT Masters Toronto 2025 grand finals on Monday (June 23) morning. Corrode will be the 12th map in Valorant after Abyss, which launched last year.

Corrode Valorant Map

Corrode has been confirmed to be located in Mont-Saint-Michel, Normandy, France. The map is set in a decaying French fortress on Omega Earth that has been converted into a Radianite salt mine.

As seen in the fun match at the opening grand finals of VCT Masters Toronto yesterday, Corrode is described as having French castle architecture with traditional village buildings.

“Players will see moving trucks, trains, the Atlas aircraft carrier in the distance, and an active supercell storm on the horizon,” said Daniel McGowan, Senior Manager for Art Direction on Valorant.

This map is set in a vast salt flat and exposes a region hit by a radianite-powered supercell storm with extreme conditions. You can see a new landscape between historic stone buildings and modern industrial equipment.

Despite having three paths, Corrode has two Spike Sites with tricky side corners. Thus, this map is said to be a place where players are required to optimize their utility, and is expected to be stronger for defenders.

Release Date

Players can experience Corrode live in competitive on Wednesday, June 25 when Act 4 Season 25 begins. The map will officially launch with the upcoming patch 11.00.
