Masashi Kishimoto Replaces Ukyo Kodachi as the Writer of Boruto
Starting from chapter 52, Boruto’s script is boing to be handled by Masashi Kishimoto.

The manga of Boruto starts to enter the climax. Boruto chapter 51 hints about Naruto’s death when he uses Kurama’s most powerful mode. But there’s something just as surprising coming up. In the middle of the heating up, the writer of Boruto is changed, from Ukyo Kodachi to Masashi Kishimoto. Yes, the mangaka of Naruto will handle it himself.
@NARUTO_kousiki on Twitter announced that Masashi Kishimoto will replace Ukyo Kodachi writing the script of Boruto starting chapter 52. While there’s no change for the illustration, still handled by Mikio Ikemoto. The change has been planned since the beginning.
Boruto chapter 52 is slated for release on 10 November 2020.
Ukyo Kodachi also tweets a respon to this announcement. Kodachi-sensei said that he passed the baton of Boruto to team Masashi and Ikemoto and hoped that fans will always support the journey of Boruto and friends. He will keep a close watch on Boruto as a viewer from now on.
