From the beginning until now, various swords used by Roronoa Zoro are not ordinary ones. Those blades are categorized as legendary swords. Do you want to know all the swords used by Roronoa Zoro in One Piece? Check it out below!

1. Wado Ichimonji

At first Wado Ichimonji is Kunia’s sword, but currently, this sword used by Zoro and accompanies his adventure from his childhood days until now. This sword is one of 21 O-Wazamono legendary swords.

Zoro usually uses (or holds) Wado Ichimonji on his mouth during the Santoryu technique. During Ittoryu Iai: Shishi Sonson technique with this blade, Zoro can easily cut Mr.1’s steel body. Tashigi once chasing Zoro because she does not want this legendary sword to be used by pirates.

2. Yubashiri

Yubashiri was obtained by Zoro along with Sandai Kitetsu when in Loguetown. This blade was valued as a strong-but-light sword, allowing users to move fast and cut deep with this sword.

Before it got destroyed by Marines named Shu in Enies Lobby, Zoro usually used Yubashiri during the Santoryu technique and along with Sandai Kitetsu during two swords technique, Nitoryu. Shusui replaces Yubashiri at the end of the Thriller Bark Arc.

3. Shusui

Shusui is a legendary sword used by Ryuma and one of many O-Wazamono swords that considered as Wano Nation’s sacred treasure. After defeated by Zoro, Ryuma passed Shusui proudly to him.

Heavy, robust, and resilient, make Shusui has a tremendous amount of power. Zoro even can hold and block Oar’s giant fist easily using it.

Similar to Sandai Kitetsu, Shusui also considered as “hot temper” by Zoro and making it hard to be used sometimes. Not only that, Shusui is far heavier than Yubashiri that is very light in comparison so Zoro has to familiarize himself.

After his training with Dracule Mihawk, it looks like Shusui becomes Zoro’s favorite. He always uses this sword during Ittoryu technique, compared to the past when he usually used Wado Ichimonji.

4. Sandai Kitetsu

Sandai Kitetsu is included under the Wazamono class. And like other swords created by Kitetsu, this sword is considered as cursed sword that can damage the user.

Zoro obtained this sword in Loguetown. At first, it’s not for sale because this sword is cursed, Zoro managed to prove that he could beat the curse and finally prized with Sandai Kitetsu and Yubashiri. Even though he’s not scratched during the test, Zoro once sensed that Sandai Kitetsu is a bloodthirsty sword and making his arm moving by itself.

Sandai Kitetsu is a sword made by Kitetsu which means Kitetsu’s sword third generation. Even though this sword is powerful enough, according to the sword catalog owner Tashigi, every generation of Kitetsu’s sword is created weaker, with Sandai as the weakest and Shodai Kitetsu is the strongest.
