Mobile Legends is currently being rocked by a new unconventional yet advantageous meta. This meta encourages Diggie players to get killed multiple times yet still gives the team an edge over the opponents. This meta is called "Diggie Feeder", which was made popular by the Filipino team, Aura PH when they played against Execration.
So, how will this Diggie Feeder meta benefit your teammates?
As we already know, Diggie has a Passive called "Young Again", which turns him into an egg with a temporary set of skills upon his death. While these skills make him far from lethal, they can still give you a way to inflict damage on enemies and can be used to disrupt them, especially from doing recalls.
This was exactly the strategy utilized by Aura PH to mess up the opponents’ formation and forced them to spend more time since they had to go to base without being able to do recalls.
During his Egg Form, Diggie can gather some info like a walking ward. This way will certainly give your laner freedom to farm without the fear of getting ganked since you have visions on the enemy’s area. Now, how do you use the Diggie Feeder meta?
1. Use Retribution
First off, the main thing to do when using the Digge Feeder meta is picking the Retribution Spell. What does Retribution have to do with this meta? This Spell is useful to steal enemies’ buffs. Since you’re invulnerable during your Egg Form, it is so much easier to sneak into the opponents’ buff areas and get your Retribution ready when the monsters have low HP.
Unfortunately, you can’t use Retribution while still being in your Egg Form, so you’re going to need the perfect timing to steal their buffs.
2. Use "Young Again" to Gather Info on Enemies’ Carry
As already mentioned above, Diggie has a Passive called "Young Again", which allows him to turn into an egg. During your Egg Form, you’re invulnerable against enemies’ attacks, so you can roam around and find out about the enemies’ locations. Yet, you need to prioritize the enemies’ Carry.
You just need to close down the enemies’ Carry wherever they go. Keep on pressuring them, and if you’re smart, you will be able to use Retribution at the right moments to steal his buffs.
3. Don’t Get Any Kill!
The more times you die, the less gold the opponent will receive from shutting you down. Once you have been killed 8 times, opponents will no longer receive any gold from you. However, the stack will reset if you get a Kill, so it’s a big no-no if you want to pull off this Diggie Feeder meta.
In other words, you need to be cautious when using Diggie’s bomb, otherwise, you will mess up the whole strategy.
4. Cancel Out Enemies’ Recall and Regen with Egg Form’s Skills
Even when you enter the Egg Form, it doesn’t mean that you can’t do much. You can make good use of your Egg Form skills to cancel out enemies’ recalls and HP regen. This may result in them being tilted and frustrated from not being able to recall. Forcing them to walk all the way to the baseline.
5. Don’t Use It in Solo Ranked Matches!
The last thing you need to keep in mind if you want to play the Diggie Feeder meta is not to play solo ranked matches. It is highly advised that you play in a party of five since it is very likely for you to get reported. Once you got multiple reports, you put your account in danger.
Well, those were the details on how to pull off a Diggie Feeder meta. Don’t forget to follow Dunia Games on Instagram and Facebook to keep you updated on the latest exciting news and articles.
