Neutral Item in Dota 2 is another interesting thing that introduced in the latest update patch 7.23. Different than most items, Neutral Item itself can only be obtained from Neutrals that scattered across the map. There are a few things that you should know regarding Neutral Items in  Dota 2 to avoid confusion. Take a look down here:

1. Neutral Item can be obtained after 5 minutes of battle started;
2. Neutral Item has five tiers. Each tier has its own drop time;
3. The chance to get Neutral Item is random (according to percentage). The highest tier item will roll first (the percentage to obtain it is low) then going to the lowest tier (with a higher percentage);
4. When Neutral is player controlled, it won’t drop an item. That means it can be only obtained when they are truly Neutral;
5. The Neutral you received will be different, and nobody has the same thing (cannot use two items in one team);
6. At maximum, can only receive 3 items in one tier:
   • The first drop rate is 9 percent
   • The second drop rate is 6 percent
   • The third drop rate is 3 percent
7. Neutral Item cannot be sold at the shop, but you can share it with a friend.
