Mika in Genshin Impact made his official presence in this HoYoverse game for the first time in the Genshin Impact version 3.5 on March 21. Mika is a new 4-star Cryo character from Mondstadt. This new character is believed to be one of the supporting characters with a unique buffing style and way of playing. Mika is a polearm user, who falls into the same niche buffer category as Gorou or Faruzan because he can increase the physical damage to other characters on his team.
Mika Genshin Impact Build
Mika in Genshin Impact is a character that is relatively easy to play and build so that even new players can use this character as their mainstay support character. Here are some explanations regarding his build skills, recommended artifacts, recommended weapons, and tips for playing Mika in Genshin Impact.
Mika Genshin Impact Skills
Even though he is a 4-star character, Mika's gameplay is quite interesting and cool. Apart from being a polearm user who can be a buffer in the team, he also has healing abilities for party members. Mika has a normal attack that can launch attacks up to 5 times in a row using his crossbow and polearm.
Even though Mika is a polearm user, Mika also holds a crossbow that can be used to help him attack enemies. So, when Mika launches a charged attack, his weapon will change to a crossbow. This ability has never existed before for Genshin Impact characters who used two weapons at the same time.
His Elemental Skill, called Starfrost Swirl, is able to increase the Attack Speed of active characters in the team and Mika's passive talent Suppressive Barrage is able to strengthen the effect of this Elemental Skill based on the number of enemies affected by his Elemental Skill and gives bonus Physical Damage to active characters in the team. Every attack that hits this enemy will produce 4 Cryo energy particles and bounce up to a maximum of three enemies.
Another one that is no less interesting is Mika's Elemental Burst: Skyfeather Song which is able to recite the prayers of the knights and restore HP and give Eagleplume status to all active characters around. Active characters can restore HP when attacking enemies using Normal Attack in this mode. Just like Barbara, the amount of recovery issued will be based on Mika's Max HP.

Recommended Artifacts for Mika Genshin Impact
The best artifacts that Mika can use are 4 Noblesse Oblige pieces which can give ATK buffs to all team members every time her Elemental Burst is activated. If you don't have it yet, another option to choose from is 4 Exiles which can provide additional energy for other characters. The ability of this artifact will be very useful to increase Mika's utility, especially if he is in a team with Eula who requires a lot of energy.
If you want to increase Mika's healing abilities, then you can use 4 Ocean-Hued Clams which are useful for increasing Mika's skills as well as dealing additional damage to nearby enemies. Prioritize finding the right stats for Mika, such as an hourglass for Elemental Reaction percentage, Goblet for HP percentage, and Circlet for Crit Rate percentage stats (if using Favonius Lance) or HP percentage.
Recommended Weapons for Mika Genshin Impact
Because the main priority for Mika's abilities is the high energy requirement, Mika is recommended to use weapons that have the Elemental Reaction sub stat, the best weapon you can choose is the Favonius Lance. Besides being able to add ER, this weapon can provide additional energy particles received by a team so that it can add Mika's benefits to the team. You can use other weapons such as Prototype Starglitter or Skyward Spine, but even though the ER sub-stat of these weapons is higher, the passive effects in these two weapons are not very useful for Mika's abilities.
Tips on Using Mika Genshin Impact
Here are some tips that you can consider using Mika in your team.
- Useful for Characters Requiring Movement SPD, Mika will be very useful if her ability to increase movement speed makes Mika a good team support member who can work for characters like Ayato or Wanderer.
- The Second Constellation is Useful for High Buffs, when you have C2 Mika, then his ability when shooting his crossbow can increase Physical DMG by 10% so that the buff Mika gives to the team becomes stronger.
- Useful enough for Team Eula, Mika's ATK SPD buff will be quite useful to add one extra attack, namely giving one stack of Eula's attacks if she doesn't get interrupted by the enemy.
From the explanation above, it can be concluded that Mika is one of the Genshin Impact characters who are quite unique and can fill in the team's skills. However, his limited abilities make players have to consider which buffs they want to develop from Mika. To use it optimally too, players must open the constellation so they can unlock Mika's potential as a whole.
