MLBB Golden Month 2026: IDR 200 Million Donation Supports 300 Children in Indonesia

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has once again demonstrated its commitment to social initiatives in Indonesia through its Ramadan program titled Golden Month 2026. In this year’s initiative, the popular MOBA title has allocated IDR 200 million in donations to support more than 300 children across Indonesia.

The program has run from February 20 to March 15, 2026, and has become the largest Ramadan campaign ever organised by MLBB in Indonesia. The assistance has been directed toward children battling cancer as well as underprivileged youth through partnerships with several cancer foundations and an orphanage in Jakarta.

The support has not been limited to medical assistance alone. The program has also provided school supplies, daily necessities, and communal iftar gatherings. This approach has shown that MLBB has aimed not only to offer financial aid but also to bring a sense of togetherness and the spirit of Ramadan to the beneficiaries.

Compared to the previous year, the scale of Golden Month 2026 has increased significantly. In 2025, MLBB had distributed approximately IDR 100 million, benefiting around 130 children. This year, the donation value has doubled while the number of beneficiaries has nearly tripled.

This growth has also reflected the massive size of the MLBB community in Indonesia. As one of the game’s largest global markets, Indonesia has hosted millions of active players who have continued to participate in various community and esports activities.

Through Golden Month, MLBB has attempted to connect everyday gameplay with meaningful social impact. The concept has allowed players not only to enjoy the game but also to become part of a broader movement of kindness during the holy month of Ramadan.


Gameplay Has Turned Into Donations Through an In-Game Event

One of the key features of Golden Month 2026 has been the in-game event titled “BUKBAR Berbagi Kebaikan,” which was launched on February 21.

Through this event, players have participated in an activity called “Berburu Kemenangan Bareng.” The concept has been simple: players have collected points by playing matches, watching in-game videos, and completing various activities inside MLBB.

The points gathered by players have then been converted by MLBB into donation funds. In other words, every activity performed inside the game has directly contributed to the aid distributed to children in need.

This system has enabled millions of MLBB players in Indonesia to take part in a social initiative without having to make direct financial contributions. Gameplay, which has traditionally been centred on entertainment, has gained a new dimension as a medium for charity.

Beyond increasing player engagement, this concept has also demonstrated how a game can function as a community platform capable of generating real social impact.


Charity Livestreams Featuring Esports Personalities

Golden Month 2026 has also included a series of charity livestreams involving prominent esports figures and popular content creators in Indonesia.

The first session took place on February 21, featuring Setiawan Ade and Dean KT. During the stream, both personalities played MLBB matches while encouraging viewers to donate throughout the broadcast.

Community enthusiasm continued during the second session on February 28, which featured two iconic Indonesian MLBB figures from RRQ Hoshi, Lemon and XINNN. Their appearance attracted strong fan engagement and significantly boosted the donation momentum.

Overall, the two livestream sessions successfully raised IDR 55,120,234 in donations. The format combined competitive entertainment with the charitable spirit commonly associated with Ramadan.

The livestream series has culminated in a flagship event titled “BUKBAR LIVE: Ngabuburit Wars.” The event has featured special 5v5 matches involving well-known esports personalities and community creators.

Among the participants have been Nino and Hujime from Alter Ego Esports, alongside notable figures such as Rivaldi Fatah (R7), Setiawan Ade, Markocop, Celiboy, Winona Karamoy, and Bachrul Alam. The event has also included several mystery guest stars, adding further excitement for fans.


Golden Month Has Reached Communities Across Indonesia

Beyond digital initiatives, MLBB has also brought Golden Month directly to communities through a program called “MLBB Golden Month: Road to Victory!”

The activation has taken place from March 13 to March 18, 2026, featuring a specially branded gaming truck travelling across three major Indonesian cities: Jakarta, Bandung, and Surabaya.

During the tour, fans have enjoyed several interactive activities, including:

1. Mabar Arena
A dedicated gaming area inside the truck where visitors have been able to play MLBB together with other community members.

2. Victory Takjil Distribution
Distribution of takjil packages for commuters and residents in busy public areas.

3. Pop-up Challenges
Short challenge activities offering exclusive MLBB-themed rewards for participants.

This concept has blended gaming culture with the values of generosity and togetherness associated with Ramadan, creating a more direct community experience for players.


Golden Month Has Become an Annual Social Initiative

Over time, Golden Month has evolved into one of the most important annual initiatives for MLBB Indonesia. Beyond delivering gameplay content, the program has reinforced MLBB’s role as a community platform with meaningful social impact.

Indonesia itself has remained one of the largest markets for MLBB globally. The popularity of the game has been reflected not only in its massive player base but also in the rapidly growing esports ecosystem and creator community surrounding it.

The campaign has concluded with the distribution of donations to partner foundations after the entire program period ended. With a larger scale than previous years, Golden Month 2026 has demonstrated how gaming communities can become powerful forces for positive change.
