Resident Evil 4 Remake is the upcoming title from the fan-favorite horror game franchise ready to be released later this month. Meanwhile, fans of GTA San Andreas don’t seem to stop bringing the main character, CJ, as a mod in other games. Previously, the CJ mod was available in Stray and Hogwarts Legacy, now CJ is making an appearance ahead of the release of Resident Evil 4 Remake. Resident Evil 4 Remake is yet to be officially released, but someone posted a video on Twitter (12/03), featuring an amazing mod that brings Carl Johnson, aka CJ, to the eerie village in the upcoming Resident Evil title.

Many gamers find this both amusing and entertaining as the beloved character takes on a much more serious role. You can see it in the post below, user @MarcosRCRE shared the results of the mod publicly, which shows CJ from GTA San Andreas entering a house and confronting the villagers of Ganado. You can see him wearing the iconic white tank top with blue jeans as CJ barges in while apologizing to the creatures.

Whereas in the original gameplay, the video demo of Resident Evil 4 Remake features Leon S. Kennedy as the main character entering a house and asking residents about the president's daughter. It's one of the opening scenes of the game, which now returns with one of the favorite characters from the Grand Theft Auto series.

According to the Grand Theft Auto San Andreas lore, CJ is a naive individual yet he can be quite composed most of the time. But he also knows when to fight back and tends to choose violent approaches in handling matters. He shows concern for his friends unlike most of the main protagonists of the GTA series, who are rather ruthless.

Seeing how CJ makes an appearance in Resident Evil 4 Remake opens up the possibility that there are many other mods that are developed by modders for the game. Resident Evil 4 Remake is slated for an official release on March 24, 2023 for PC, PS5, PS4, and Xbox Series X/S.
