NMM scolding RRQ players has certainly not been a common sight for fans. Few people have ever truly known the inner workings of a team, except through the documentaries they have released.

Some teams have chosen to be open and unfiltered, while others have carefully selected only certain moments to be shown. Highly sensitive content has often not been considered ideal for public viewing.

Even so, something interesting has emerged from RRQ. In their latest documentary, a moment has surfaced where several players have been scolded by both Khezcute and NMM, serving as the team’s coach and analyst.

RRQ had suffered defeats during the final two weeks of MPL ID Season 15. While those losses have not affected their standings—they had already secured an upper bracket spot and eventually have become the regular season champions—the losses have still served as a wake-up call. Khezcute and NMM have felt the need to deliver a firm message to the players.

NMM Scolds RRQ Players

It began with Khezcute questioning Rinz about his laning matchup gameplay, which had seemed off to him.

Then, NMM’s harsh remarks have followed. He indirectly warned that with such a performance, RRQ would not have been able to win MPL ID Season 15.

"Saying this is to make you better for playoffs, right? You want to be champions but you’re not showing any guts, you’re weak. You won’t be champions, I swear," NMM told the RRQ players.

"You need to be strong. Prove yourselves. It doesn’t matter if we’ve won 4-0 in scrims again and again. In actual matches, you play weak, you don’t fight properly. It won’t work. Trust me—at best, we’ll be runner-up again. Didn’t it hurt, being runner-up last time?" NMM emphasized.

It will be interesting to see how RRQ has responded to this wake-up call once the playoffs begin. They have had a fairly long break, but other teams have surely been catching up. Will RRQ’s dominance continue—or will history repeat itself like last season?
