In the DGL 2020 Grand Finals which took place at GBK Basketball Hall, the dark horse team, Morph Team successfully came out as the champion, ousting other PUBG Mobile major names, such as Bigetron RA, Aura Esport, and RRQ Ryu in the process. With his team’s triumph, Morph Team founder, Reza “Arap” Oktovian, seemed unable to hide his feelings.

Arap, who was always accompanying his team since Day 1 of the DGL 2020 Grand Finals, jumped out his seat and cheered with joy when Morph Team was announced as the champion. Arap was visibly moved and proud when he watched Jeixy, RensKy, NoMercy, and Zabrol lift the DGL trophy.

Interviewed shortly after lifting the trophy, Arap felt his team members were the deserved champions after the hard work done before the competition. “They deserve it, they’ve done their best. Training every day like crazy,” explained the man who is widely known as a gamer as well as a streamer.

Since the first day of the DGL 2020 Grand Finals, Arap has aimed for the title. However, he had no intention of putting the pressure on his team members, “We aim for the title, but I’ve always told them to have fun, stay composed, don’t get stressed out, that’s enough for me,” added Arap.

Arap’s treatment toward his team is proven successful. Despite being a newly-formed team, Morph Team managed to top the DGL 2020 standing with 136 points collected, 17 points ahead of world champion Bigetron RA who occupied the second place.

A New Team Looking For a Coach

As mentioned earlier, Morph Team is an Esports team that Arap had just set up earlier this year after disbanding his old Esports team, WAW Esports. In assembling Morph Team, Arap wasn’t alone as he was helped by Ahmad Priyadi, acting as the manager of the team.

Aside from it, Morph also received support from the digital company, BUBU.com. This company has often appeared in the world of Esports in Indonesia after successfully holding BUBU Esport Tournament or B.E.S.T along with the first Esports seminar in Indonesia titled IDByte Esports 2019.

At the time of the announcement of his team, Arap claimed that MORPH isn’t solely focusing on the world of Esports. This brand is planned to act as a pillar of the lifestyle trends among the actors in the world of Esports. It can be seen on the official website of Morph Team that has already started selling two types of jerseys to fans.

So far, Morph Team only has a PUBG Mobile division with no coach, but that doesn’t stop this team to give an all-out performance and become a champion. Seeing the huge potential of Morph, Arap has no doubt in giving his total support for his team.

“For future plans, we’re currently looking for coaches. I’ve been looking for a coach for two months now, but I haven’t found any so far. We will give them the best, of course. I’ll give them my best,” Arap concluded.
