Two of the world's most powerful content festivals will join forces. Motion IME Festival and WCG (World Cyber Games) will merge into one big event: Motion IME x WCG Festival 2025, which will be held in December in Jakarta, Indonesia. 

This unprecedented collaboration between two global giants marks the birth of the largest content creator festival the world has ever seen - an explosive convergence of gaming, pop culture and fandom.

Motion IME, Indonesia's leading pop culture festival, is known for its array of K-POP performances, cosplay, animation, subculture exhibitions and vibrant community experiences. WCG, the global leader in creator-led gaming festivals, features esports-style competitions, creator-driven gameplay, and immersive fan participation programs. 

For the first time, the two will combine their full-scale strengths to deliver a hybrid festival experience that redefines the global standard for fan-driven events.

The two festivals bring their distinct DNA - WCG with its competitive gaming and creator energy, Motion IME with its massive pop culture and community reach. Combined, they promise a festival scale and cultural impact unprecedented in Southeast Asia.

Last year's Motion IME featured renowned K-POP artists such as VIVIZ, while WCG hosted dozens of internationally renowned game and content creators.

General admission tickets will be available from IDR 100,000, giving full access to events and the chance to meet local and global icons from the world of gaming and pop culture.

To officially kick off the campaign, the organizers will be holding an online press conference on June 12 at 7 p.m. WIB, live-streamed via Windah Basudara's YouTube channel. The event will reveal the official concept, highlight key events, and include a media Q&A session with representatives from Motion IME and WCG.
