Natsume confirmed that the upcoming entry from the Harvest Moon series titled Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos will launch for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, which is likely to be later this year. Along with this announcement, Natsume also shared some of the latest screenshots of the upcoming game.

“We are excited to show players more about the vast world of Anthos, starting with Providence Village!” said Natsume president and CEO Hiro Maekawa in a press release. “We are sure our fans are looking forward to exploring every inch of it as we continue to uncover the people, animals and plants of this new world!”

Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos is set in the world of Anthos, which is home to the Harvest Sprites who protect humans and nature, as well as the Harvest Goddess. But ten years prior to the game's timeline, a large eruption made the Sprites and Goddess need to use their powers to protect people, so the villages were cut off from each other, separating the people.

In this game, players can grow crops, take care of livestock and make friends with pets like owls, rabbits and even wolves and bengals. It is also important for you to try to grow various kinds of plants, from vegetables, fruit, to beautiful flowers. Don't forget that you will also meet various interesting characters including Westley, the leader of Providence Village, and his adventurous little sister Vivi.

In addition to that, you can visit five towns, each of which has its own seasons, terrain and characters. The expando-farm feature from Harvest Moon: One World is also said to be making a comeback, a feature that allows players to easily move their farms around the world according to their needs.
