The new Killing Spree effect has just been revealed in the latest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang patch update. This talent emblem has been unpopular ever since the talent emblem system was introduced.

Killing Spree previously forced assassins or junglers to play aggressively, as they needed to secure kills to trigger the HP regeneration effect.

As a result, many assassins preferred using Impure Rage or War Cry, which provided more balanced and effective attributes overall. It seems Moonton has recognized this issue.

Several talent emblems have been modified or reworked, including Killing Spree. The new Killing Spree effect is much more functional and could significantly impact assassins.

Especially in the current META, assassins are still top-tier choices—Joy and Suyou, two S-tier junglers in the competitive scene, have not received any nerfs or buffs, making them highly contested picks.

New Killing Spree Effect

Why is Killing Spree making a comeback, just like a few years ago? The reason is simple: its core effect no longer requires securing a kill to activate.

Now, heroes with Killing Spree will gain HP regeneration and movement speed boosts even before securing a kill.

The new Killing Spree effect is triggered when an enemy’s HP drops below 30% (critically low) after taking damage.

• When this condition is met, the hero regenerates 15% HP and gains 20% movement speed.
• Additionally, the original kill effect is still intact—if a hero with Killing Spree secures a kill, the 30-second cooldown of the effect is reset instantly.

This new Killing Spree effect will greatly benefit assassins with strong kill potential and burst damage, such as Hayabusa, Hanzo, Nolan, and other finisher heroes.
