Cygames and Arc System Works have released a new gameplay trailer for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising this time featuring 2B from NieR: Automata. 2B will join as a playable character from now on. Her attack moves will consist of her signature weapons: the short sword Virtuous Contract and the great sword Virtuous Treaty. 2B can be obtained as a DLC character, with the package costing US$8 (around Rp125 thousand) and will include her own avatar, badge, weapon cutout, as well as various poses and expressions that players can use. For those of you who buy the character pack on the PlayStation Store, you will get a bonus item in the form of an additional YoRHa uniform for the original Granblue Fantasy mobile game.

The character 2B is once again voiced by Yui Ishikawa in Japanese and Kira Buckland in English, respectively. 2B's presence kicks off Cygames' plans for more DLC releases for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. The plan is to have three additional playable characters as part of Character Pass 1. The first will be 2B from NieR: Automata at the end of February 2024, followed by Vane in April, Beatrix in May, and two unannounced characters in August and October.

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising has been released since December 2023 as a sequel to Granblue Fantasy Versus in 2020. This game is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. For 2B DLC itself is available on Steam for PC users and PlayStation Store for users PS4 and PS5.
