The last week’s episode ended with Eren screaming in pain as he’s cornered by Reiner, Porco, and Pieck. So, how does the story pan out in Episode 2? Let’s take a look!

1. Zeke Comes to Help Eren

In the previous episode, we’ve learned that Zeke survived his encounter with Levi. He’s also saved by Ymir Fritz during his time in the Path. After surviving the ordeal, it seems that Zeke immediately catches up with Eren, saving his brother from a desperate situation as Eren had been dealing with the entire Marleyan army to that point.

Zeke’s arrival surely comes as a surprise for all the parties involved, especially for the Survey Corps as Levi wasn’t supposed to let Zeke out of his sight.

2. The Paradis-Marley Battle Gets More Intense

The Eldian army and Eren, who had been overwhelmed by the Marleyan army, begin to fight back with Zeke helping with his throws. The Cart Titan switches its focus from Eren to the Beast Titan, although Pieck doubts whether the cannon is enough to take Zeke down.

3. Falco is Saved

While Falco is having a conversation with the commander of the Military Police Brigade, Nile Dawk, he’s told that the Marleyan invasion may be his chance to save himself, yet Falco isn’t sure that the Marleyan army is there to save him. However, Nile commands Falco to use the attack as an opportunity to escape if possible.

After all of the captives are freed by the Survey Corps to help the battle against Marley, Falco sees his brother and Gabi in an alley. Seeing that, Nile secretly freed him and orders them to escape.

4. Falco Reveals His Feelings to Gabi

Once Falco’s saved and takes refuge in an empty house with Gabi and Colt, Falco reveals his feelings to Gabi, admitting that he joined the Warrior Unit as a candidate to give her a chance to live a long and happy life together.

5. Zeke Gets Shot Down by the Anti-Titan Artillery

As Zeke gets distracted by the charred carcass of the Cart Titan, he’s ambushed by the Marleyan army who hide near the Titan’s carcass. Before Zeke has the time to react, Magath shoots an anti-Titan bullet at Zeke, blasting through the Beast Titan’s nape and destroying most parts of Zeke’s real body.
