In the previous episode, Clover Kingdom has officially made an alliance with the Heart Kingdom. Yami then asked all of the members of the Black Bull to get better and stronger within the next 6 months to prepare themselves from the Devils of the Spade Kingdom. 1. The Captains’ Reception

At the beginning of the episode, the Magic Knights are celebrating Clover Kingdom’s triumph over the elves. All of the captains show themselves before the people, and so does Julius. Hilariously, Owen had to disguise himself as Julius since the people are not aware that their Magic Emperor had transformed and weakened into the shape of a little kid.

The people seem happy to see Julius, but not so much when they see King August Kira. Yup, it’s definitely because the King has never done anything to save the Clover Kingdom. All of it was due to the efforts of the Magic Emperor and the Magic Knight Captains. In short, none of the people have respect over their King.

2. The Magic Knights’ Meeting

In last week’s episode, Yami was already aware of the things that would happen to the Clover Kingdom. He also had asked his troops to train and get better. At this Magic Knight Captains’ meeting, it’s Julius who requests them to hone their skills. He explains the perilous state of the kingdom, as well as their alliance with the Heart Kingdom.

Noelle and the others elaborate the intel they’ve gathered during their scouting in the Heart Kingdom. The same with Magna and the others who witnessed the unnerving mysterious figure from the Spade Kingdom who obliterated the entire Diamond Kingdom’s troops. After the captains found out about this, they’re convinced that they have to be better.

3. William’s Regret

In the previous arc, William, or Patri, had betrayed the Clover Kingdom by murdering a lot of its people. However, Julius was rather lenient towards it, he understood that it wasn’t William who did all of those murders. Since then, William vowed his loyalty to the Clover Kingdom. And now, he feels deep remorse up to the point of resigning from his position as a Captain.

Not just Wiliam, Charlotte and Kaizer are also going to do the same thing since they’ve been possessed by elves. Julius then judiciously asks them to remain as Captains. In his mind, the best way to redeem their sins is to fight with all their might to protect the Clover Kingdom.

4. Gueldre Poizot as the New Addition to the Team

Previously, Gueldre was the Captain of the Purple Orca squad before being replaced by Kaizer. He was arrested after being caught betraying the kingdom. However, Julius decides to pardon him and invites him to join the Magic Knights. Julius’ argument on this wasn’t Gueldre prowess, but his exceptional negotiation skills.

The Magic Emperor utilizes this to help the kingdom’s struggling economy. He even cut the Captains’s salaries by 50 percent. No one seems to be against the proposal, except for Yami and Jack. Since aside from them, all of the Magic Knight Captains came from noble families, therefore they won’t mind losing a bit of money.
