Well, if you want to watch Boruto Episode 129, you can visit Crunchyroll: Boruto Episode 129.
Because Boruto Episode 129 has aired last Sunday, it means that it is the time for the author to discuss about some facts of this episode.
Previously, Urashiki used his time-travelling device to go back to the past - when Naruto was still young - to steal the Nine-Tails chakra. Boruto and Sasuke also brought back to the past to chase after Urashiki. Right now, they were stuck at the beginning of the era when Konoha was led by Tsunade. Of course they will meet young Naruto and his friends.
Then, how will the story of Boruto and Sasuke’s adventure in the past goes? Let’s check out the discussion about Boruto Episode 129 below!
1. Boruto and Sasuke is in the Past
After leaving the time tunnel, Boruto and Sasuke were in a strange but familiar village. After exploring for a while, they saw the Konoha Hokage statue that only had four pieces, there were no Tsunade, Kakashi or Naruto.
Boruto and Sasuke had confirmed that they were thrown into Konoha in the past - when Tsunade had just been appointed as Hokage to be precise.
What is the reason for Urashiki traveling back in time? Otsutsuki's target did not change - he was aiming for the Nine-Tailed Beast, Kurama's chakra. Because it was difficult to get this Bijuu chakra in the era where Naruto is the Hokage, Urashiki chose to steal it at the time where Naruto is still weak.
2. The Law of Time Travelling
The Turtle Karasuki explained that there are laws or regulations that they must obey. It is better if the people in the past were not told about the real identities of the time travelers, especially to the people who have the closest relationship with them.
If they break the rules, their future is at risk. The worst of all, the time travelers can change important events or change the time of a person's death. So, Boruto and Sasuke can't reveal their true identities.
3. Boruto Meets Young Naruto
Because of Karasuki’s explanation, Boruto and Sasuke disguised themselves as migrants. Sasuke argues that they should protect Naruto from afar and not interact too much with other people.
But after walking a few steps, Boruto accidentally meet Naruto and Jiraiya. After he became the victim of Naruto and Jiraiya’s mischief behaviour, Tsunade ordered them to observe Boruto and Sasuke.
4. Naruto’s Kindness
Like it or not, Naruto had to obey the Hokage’s order. Jiraiya ran away and leave everything to his student. Sasuke prefers to protect Naruto from a distance. Only Naruto and Boruto remained.
Naruto invited Boruto to stay at his house. As we remember, Naruto lived in a flat which could be said to be below standard. His room is quite messy, but he immediately tidy it up
Even though Naruto barely lives, he still serves his guests well, even treating Boruto to dinner even though there are only instant Ramen.
5. The Most Touching Moment
Naruto had told Boruto that he had lived alone for a long time and did not know his mother and father. Surely we know who Naruto's parents are - Minato and Kushina. But at that time, Naruto did not know who his parents were.
Then before going to sleep, Boruto told him about his happy family. He also added that his father was very strong and everyone depended on him. Naruto looked happy to hear that, but his expression was like someone who longed for family life.
So, those are the discussion if you've watched Boruto Episode 129 this week. If author is Boruto, knowing his own father's childhood who lived alone and just barely live would be very touching.
The preview for next week's episode features more of Naruto's friends who are still young, including Hinata, Konohamaru, Rock Lee, and Neji! It seems like there are no signs of Urashiki's existence yet. Wait for the discussion of Boruto Episode 130!
