In this episode, we’re being introduced to the members of Konoha Genin Team 40. They are Enko Onikuma, Doshu Goetsu, Tsuru Itou, and an unknown Jonin. These three genins have their own unique abilities. 

Enko has a secret jutsu, inherited from her Onikuma Clan - a Kuchiyose type jutsu that possesses the caster’s body, giving them massive power. For Doshu, he has a big talent in kenjutsu - using a disc-like weapon that can tie down even the biggest bear. Meanwhile, for Tsuru, the jutsu that she studies reminds us of Jiraiya, which is the Hair Binding Technique.

4.  Enko Who Can’t Control Her Power

The problem facing Team 40 at the moment is Enko’s uncontrollable power. When they’re in the middle of a mission, Enko suddenly went berserk and attacked two of her teammates. Doshu and Tsuru couldn’t hold Enko down and forced to tranquilized her.

The cause of her rage was her crumbling feelings and full of negativity.

3. Team 40’s New Leader

Enko’s rage isn’t just a one-time occurrence. Unfortunately, it was some kind of an episode that’s happened on several occasions, much to the point that the Jonin who led Team 40 had to be hospitalized. To solve this problem, the Konoha chiefs sent Ibiki Morino. Surely you remember this scary-looking teacher, don’t you?

Ibiki Morino is a Tokubetsu Jonin and the commanding officer of the Konoha Torture and Interrogation Force. He has powerful taijutsu skills and is able to summon torture tools.

2. Overcoming Fear

In order to calm Enko of her rage, Doshu, and Tsuru had the initiative to practice in overcoming their fear. For that, they went after Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki to ask for their help. 

Firstly, they went to watch a scary movie at the cinema. Apparently, no one was scared of it, except for Sarada. And then, they went to the zoo and practiced on overcoming their fear by a staring contest against some beasts. Unfortunately, none of those were successful.

1. Overcoming Loneliness

As we know already, Enko’s rage was triggered by her negative feelings. Enko always feels alienated and lost in loneliness due to her insecurity that many people scared of her devilish arms. Ibiki and Tsuru came to understand her feelings.

They got to have the courage to face Enko’s rage and make her realize that she’s not alone or alienated.
