Finally, after several weeks have passed, finally, we can watch the latest episode of Boruto. Do you still remember the last episode? Boruto Episode 154 told about Himawari who wanted to experience as a ninja. Her talents already seen in this episode, but her decision to become one was yet to be decided.

Sadly, the last and the new episode still a filler. But it doesn’t matter, Boruto Episode 155 still worth it to watch. So, how was this episode? Have a look.

1. Mitsuki’s Cat Reappears and One Mysterious Figure 

If you haven’t watch Boruto Episode 104, it was told that Mitsuki picked up a small stray cat and named it Mikazuki. After nursing it, Mitsuki let the kitten go to return to its mother. He felt lonely after the cat left him, but it was revealed that the cat sometimes visits Mitsuki in his room.

Boruto Episode 155 begins with Mitsuki visited by Mikazuki and leads him to a narrow, dark alleyway. There, Mitsuki finds a wounded and unconscious mysterious figure. Mitsuki later brings him to his room to be nursed back to health. 

After he wakes up, the kid introduced himself as Samidare and doesn’t tell who attacked him and why he could pass out in the alley. Moreover, Mitsuki doesn’t ask for it.

2. Killer With Unknown Jutsu Technique

Mitsuki separated with Samidare after giving Mikazuki a kitten neck bell as a token of gratitude. At the same time, Team 7 receive a mission to protect Mr. Kaneki, the founder of Kaneki Corporation. 

Mr. Kaneki is suspected to be the target of a mysterious killer. The killer dubbed by the police as “Rainy Day Killer” because always kill its targets during the rainy days.

It is later proven true when Boruto, Mitsuki, and Sarada guarding Mr.Kaneki’s house, the killer storms the house and takes down a dozen of guards with unseen Jutsu in quick succession.

Luckily, Team 7 manages to thwart Rainy Day Killer's plan to assassinate his target but he successfully escapes after taking down Mitsuki’s snake with his weird Jutsu.

3. Rainy Day Killer’s Identity Revealed

We don’t have to think hard to know the identity of the killer. In filler episodes like this, the formula is simple enough - a new, mysterious character introduced then followed by strange incidents (usually killing spree), then it can be predicted that the killer is the newly introduced character.

Mitsuki can know the real identity of Rainy Day Killer due to the victim list and the explosion of Kaneki’s Corporation chemical factory. In the list, it has Mikazuki Amaashi, who turns out to be Samidare’s sister.

The reason why Samidare wants to kill Mr. Kaneki, as well as other victims, is to revenge his sister’s death.

4. Samidare’s Mysterious Jutsu Explained

Samidare’s mysterious Jutsu is not a high-level Jutsu. His technique is Suiton: Amefuribari (Water Release: Falling Rain Needles), a water element Jutsu that turns droplets into sharp needles. Samidare flows a very thin chakra, gathering droplets, and turns them into needles. Because of that, Suiton: Amefuribari becomes invisible under the rain.
