Boruto Episode 183 is out, it’s time for the weekly episode recap from Dunia Games. Let’s have a quick recap of what happened last week. Mugino is injured after getting hit by Kara’s robot that guards the “vessel”. Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki were tasked to escort Katasuke to the ninja tool lab.

It was also revealed that Ao was an Outer Kara and he is the one that put Katasuke under a genjutsu.

In Inner Kara, Jigen suspects that others are using Victor’s coup to take the “vessel”.

What happened in this week’s episode? Boruto Episode 183 is centered on Konoha Team 7 trying multiple scientific ninja tools.

1. Sumire appears

Sumire finally appears again.

As we all know, Sumire chooses to move from Team 15 to the scientific ninja tool team. She wanted to create a tool that can help her and Nue.

Sumire is under Katasuke’s tutelage. The purple-haired girl currently resides at Ryutan lab and is the assistant of Akita Inuzuka. She is also testing a tool that can sync Nue’s vision with hers.

At the end of the episode, Sumire returns to Konoha and works as Katasuke’s assistant.

2. Boruto Still Hates Scientific Ninja Tools

In the previous episode, Boruto shows his dislike of scientific ninja weapons. Naruto and Ao explained the use of such technology, but Boruto still hates them.

In this episode, Boruto still disagrees with the use of such tools. But his heart started to waver after trying some of the tools and hearing the story of Sumire and Akita. Sumire needed the tool to live normally with Nue. and thanks to the prosthetic leg, Akita’s dog can run freely.

3. Scientific Ninja Tool Trial

After escorting Katasuke to the Ryutan lab, Team 7 is tasked with helping the workers with testing the new tools.

First, they have to try the Flashbang, a bomb that creates shining light and deafening noise, to blind and deafen anyone nearby.

Secondly, Mitsuki and Boruto tested gloves that helped them stick to the wall. In essence, shinobi can walk on walls, but this makes walking on walls much easier.

Third, a kite. Boruto wears the tool and he can fly. Unfortunately, the tool is incomplete so Boruto falls with no control.

The last is a Chakra sword, similar to lightsabers in Star Wars but uses the chakra of the user. Since it was a prototype, it consumed a lot of chakra. 

4. Suspicion on a New Traitor

Delta and Code find out that Koji Kashin killed Victor. Code remembered something Victor said about others may use his plan to betray the group and he suspects Boro.

Amado called Delta, Code, and Boro to check their body. Scientific ninja tools are installed on their body. Bu Amado’s goal is to check any oddities on every Inner Kara on Jigen’s order.

Code eavesdropped on Amado and Jigen, but it’s unknown what he will do after.

5. Team 7 Sent to Check the Air Balloon

Naruto lost contact with Konohamaru and Mugino. The Hokage then contacts Boruto that is near the crash site. He ordered Team 7 to check the location and help the two Jonin.

Those are the key events in Boruto episode 183. We can finally see Sumire again in this week’s episode. You can see more variation of scientific ninja tools although they are still in development.

The preview of Boruto Episode 184 shows Boruto and the rest arriving at the crash site and got ambushed by robot doll. Mugino is having a hard time. Code attacks Jigen but easily blocked.
