1. Naruto with Baryon Mode can Easily Fight Isshiki

In Boruto episode 217, Naruto is shown with Baryon Mode which overwhelmed Isshiki even more. This was the first time he saw Baryon Mode, Sasuke thought Naruto was ready to sacrifice his life to activate the powerful ability. Feeling Naruto was holding himself back in the fight, Isshiki was offended.

In fact, Baryon Mode gives an increase in Naruto's fighting ability and drains chakra and even his life too. Kurama said, Naruto must avoid useless movements to save his energy.

2. Baryon Mode Shaves Naruto and Isshiki’s Lives

Naruto in Baryon Mode is powerful, even the tough Issihiki became his plaything. Naruto easily suppressed Issihiki in a Taijutsu battle. Isshiki’s giant cubes were blocked and returned with the kyuubi tails coming out of Naruto’s body.

Unfortunately, this powerful Baryon Mode can only last for a very short time, even though it cornered Isshiki. Collapsed due to his energy being drained, Naruto failed to land his final attack on Isshiki. Laughing at Naruto's state, Isshiki got up and approached Naruto who he said lost the bet with his new mode.

3. Naruto and Kawaki’s are Connected via the Prosthetic Arm

The real gamble has just begun, with Baryon Mode draining both Naruto and Isshiki's lives, the two of them fight again. The remaining 30 minutes of Isshiki's life was cut to 5 minutes. Trying to fight back Naruto, Isshiki strangled and slammed the seventh Hokage to the ground.

Isshiki's grip on Naruto's neck made Isshiki realize Naruto's chakra was connected to the chakra he knew, Kawaki. Ne Anbu's hideout where Kawaki was being secured from Isshiki became connected to Naruto's chakra which activated Kawaki's prosthetic arm. As a result, Kawaki was suddenly sucked into a portal created by Isshiki and abducted him from Konoha.

4. Isshiki Targets for Kawaki at the End of His Life

Kawaki's disappearance from Konoha due to being sucked into by Isshiki's portal surprised everyone. Amado also thought that what Isshiki did was a disaster if Kawaki became the next reincarnation vessel. Appearing in front of Isshiki, Kawaki was very surprised because this was the first time he had seen the alien's true form.

Isshiki’s fleeting life made him really want to make Kawaki his next reincarnation vessel. Disgusted by the Karma that Isshiki will re-engraved, Kawaki flees from Isshiki's pursuit according to Naruto, Borutom and Sasuke's orders. The capture of Kawaki by Isshiki, made Sasuke swap their positions with the Rinnegan. Sasuke also released fog to make it difficult for Isshiki to find Kawaki.

5. Kawaki's Hide-and-Seek Trauma

Boruto episode 217 shows Kawaki's hide-and-seek with Isshiki Otsutsuki in another dimension. Buying time for Isshiki's life to reach its limit, Kawaki runs and hides. Isshiki then spread out giant needles to detect Kawaki presence.

The reflection of Isshiki's large needle stuck in the ground right in front of Kawaki's face traumatized Kawaki and reminded him of the hide-and-seek that he often did with Isshiki when Kawaki was little. The end of Naruto's Baryon Mode makes him a hostage that Isshiki will kill if Kawaki doesn't surrender to him in 20 seconds. Not wanting Naruto to suffer the same fate as the goldfish that was killed by Isshiki because of their hide-and-seek game in the past, Kawaki was forced to reappear in front of Isshiki.

That’s all about Boruto episode 217. The preview of Boruto episode 218 shows Isshiki Otsutsuki capturing Kawaki to re-carve his Karma. Kawaki is hugged by Isshiki but he keeps struggling until the end.
