Karasuno beats Tsubakihara High in 2 sets. The determining factors of their victory were their three most senior players, Sawamura, Daichi, and Asahi. At the match point, Ukai subs in Sawamura as the pinch server. Savvy Sawamura directs the ball into spots that are hard to reach by the opponents.

Not only that, but one of these Karasuno senior players also knows the data of all the opposing players. The match ended with a hard spike from Asahi. Karasuno won and advances to the next round.
