With the release of Tokyo Revengers episode 9, it’s time for the author to discuss the episode. But before that, let’s talk about the previous episode.

With the conflict between Draken and Mikey over due to Takemichi’s stupid mishap, he believed he had changed the course of history as Draken who should’ve died from the conflict was then spared.

Takemichi then rose up to become stronger and change the past so that his girlfriend Hina wouldn’t die soon. He attempted to prevent Draken’s murder that Kiyomasa was about to commit on August 3 2005

With that out of the way, let’s discuss how this week’s Tokyo Revengers episode 9 goes!

1. Takemichi Wants to Stop Draken’s Murder on August 3 2005

On Tokyo Revengers episode 9, Takemichi wants to alter the course of history by preventing Draken’s murder on August 3 2005, hoping that Draken’s survival is going to prevent Tokyo Manji from becoming an evil organization in 2017 which kills his girlfriend Hinata Tachibana. After being free from Kiyomasa’s restraints, Takemichi runs against the clock to find Draken before Kiyomasa’s about to stab him to death during the upcoming gang war.

On the way, Takemichi meets a Tokyo Manji member, Mitsuya and tells him that Draken’s life is in danger. He knows that Pehyan is the member and culprit behind this whole conflict as Pehyan allies with Moebius gang because he thought Tokyo Manji didn’t protect Pachin.

After going home from the festival, Draken and Emma encounter Pehyan and he asks Emma to stay back. But suddenly, members of Moebius gang bashes Draken’s head from behind with a log. Takemichi and Mitsuya rush to find Draken only to find him still standing after taking down a couple of Moebius gang members despite his bleeding head.

2. Mikey Arrives in the Nick of Time

Members of the Moebius gang surround the Tokyo Manji people from all directions. However, Takemichi focuses on searching for Kiyomasa instead as he should be around with the knife ready to stab Draken. Pehyan then declares that he switches sides to the Moebius group and threatens Mitsuya.

But from afar, a distinct sound of exhaust appears as the leader of Tokyo Manji, Mikey arrives in the nick of time with his motorcycle. He then attempts to rescue his buddies and face the overwhelming rival gang. When Mikey asks why Pehyan did all of this, Pehyan yells as he wishes to free Pachin from Moebius, hence his betrayal.

This reveals the true culprit behind the whole conflict, as Moebius leader Hanma arrives in hope of killing the undefeated Mikey and easily defends himself against Mikey’s kick.

3. Tokyo Manji vs Moebius Gang War

Many other Moebius members arrive along with their leader Hanma. With only four people, the Tokyo Manji group is struggling to stand up against the assault from hundreds of Moebius’ members. However, Tokyo Moebius cavalry arrives as hundreds of them arrive with their motorcycle cavalry and their Swastika flag.

Feeling angry that the opposing gang assaults Tokyo Manji’s leader unfairly, leaders of Tokyo Manji subsidiaries and their members take part in the brawl and a colossal gang war ensues.

4. Mikey Tries to Wake Pehyan Up

Tokyo Manji members’ arrival turns the tide of war as they manage to push back Moebius’ assault. On the other hand, Mikey attempts to approach Pehyan but is distracted by the Moebius members who wish to take down “The Undefeated Mikey.” However, Mikey easily takes them down and walks toward Pehyan who then greets him with a punch. Mikey doesn’t fight back as he wants Pehyan to assault him to his heart’s content.

As a wise leader, Mikey accepts Pehyan’s every attack and slams his forehead to Pehyan’s while asking him to return to Tokyo Manji. As Takemichi advised, Mikey doesn’t want the gang to split up and become an evil organization.

5. Where’s Kiyomasa Who Wishes to Murder Draken?

Amidst the ongoing gang war, Takemichi is still searching for Kiyomasa and Draken who are unseen for quite some time, especially since he himself is also facing the Moebius gang. Unfortunately, despite his attempt to prevent Draken’s murder on August 3 2005, he discovers Kiyomasa a bit too late as he holds his bloodied knife.

Kiyomasa looks pleased somewhere in the gang war area as Draken falls unconscious with blood dripping from his body. He manages to stab Draken and Takemichi becomes shocked after seeing them.
