3. Kuro

Although he only appears in the early part of the series, Kuro is one of the three smartest characters in One Piece. It’s rational, especially if we look at how he devises a plan for years to kill his master Kaya and takes the wealth away.

If Oda decides to let Kuro appear again, we may see how brilliant he is in devising a plan. But it seems like Kuro holds a little important, so we may not see him appear in the story again.

2. Nami

Yes, the member of the Straw Hat is one o the smartest characters in One Piece. When the crew is sailing, Nami is the one that commands the crew. For example, when they are up against the storm or when she recognizes something odd is happening.

Being smart is a requirement as a navigator. If Nami excels at fighting, she may turn into one of the scariest fighters. Without Nami, the Straw Hat may not get far in their adventure.

1. Benn Beckman

According to Oda’s explanation, the right-hand man of Shanks is the smartest human being in One Piece. Not only he excels in fighting, but Benn Beckman is also smart and wise that he can even manage other crews. Some may say that he is the strategist of the Red Hair Pirate.
