After news about the existence of its anime adaptation, now the popular manhwa Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint is officially confirmed to be getting a live-action film adaptation by Sing Shong. Lotte Entertainment, which is the distributor for the upcoming film, has even released several of the main actors who will play the characters in the film.

The upcoming live-action film will include top South Korean actors and actresses such as Lee Min Ho, Ahn Hyo Seop, Chae Soo Bin, Shin Seung. Ho, Nana, Park Ho San, Choi Young Joon, to Jisoo from Blackpink, and many other actors. Currently, the film is reported to have started the shooting process in December 2023. This film is expected to be released in 2024, where the film will be directed by Kim Byung Woo. The production team also released behind-the-scenes photos of the film's cast who were seen reading the script.

Lee Min-Ho will reportedly play the lead role as Yoo Joong-Hyuk in the Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint live action, while Ahn Heo-Seop will play one of the most important characters from the upcoming film, namely Kim Dokja. Meanwhile, Chae Soo-Bin will play the character Yoo Sang-A, while BLACKPINK member Jisoo will play another important role as Lee Ji-Hye in the upcoming film.

Choi Young-Joon will play Han Myung-Oh, while Park Ho-San will play the role of Gong Pil-Doo. Nana will be seen playing the important role of Jung Hee-Won and Shin Seung-Ho will play the character of Lee Hyun-Sung in the film adaptation of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint.

With direction from director Kim Byung-Woo, this new fantasy film will adapt the original light novel by Sing Shong which tells the story of an ordinary worker named Kim Dok-Ja, who learns the ending of a web novel entitled 'Three Ways to Survive in a World Destroyed'. The story will unfold when the world begins to change into a plot like in the web novel he read. The main character of this web novel is Yoo Joong-Hyuk who has extraordinary abilities.
