1. Zoro is Still Troubled by King
Zoro still hasn't found a way to fight King. He stabbed King, but King—thanks to his race—made a huge explosion that endangered Zoro's life. Zoro then uses Wado Ichimonji to launch his strongest attack: Shishi Sonson (Lion's Song), but the technique does no damage to King!
King who counterattacked threw Zoro and almost made him lose his swords. Zoro was desperately trying to take his swords back.
2. Queen Hinted at King’s Past
Back to where Sanji confronted Queen, Queen said that King was a Lunarian. A race that lives in the Red Line and is considered a god due to its body's natural ability to survive in all kinds of situations—this makes it a very formidable opponent for Zoro.
The Lunarian hasn't been fully explained yet, but considering that they were once considered "gods"—the same status as World Nobles—it's possible that they were an important race in the Void Century that existed until the formation of the World Government and World Nobles. They were slaughtered until the World Nobles took over. This possibility was quite high considering they were in the Red Line, a place now ruled by the World Government and World Nobles.
3. Enma and Wado Ichimonji are Forged by the Same Blacksmith
Zoro recalled Tenguyama Hitetsu's words about Wado Ichimonji and Enma. Hitetsu said that both swords were made by the same person, Shimotsuki Kozaburo. Shimotsuki Kozaburo himself turns out to be Kuina's grandfather—which means Kuina is descended from the same Shimotsuki as Zoro and both come from the Wano samurai family!
4. The Secret of the Cursed Sandai Kitetsu
During Zoro’s childhood, Kozaburo explains that every katana created exists to cut and kill as many people as possible. Kozaburo said that each katana had a will of their own and it was the swordsman's duty to tame the sword they wielded. This has led to the superstition that deadly swords are cursed—like Sandai Kitetsu.
Kozaburo also said that he had created his masterpiece back when he was at Wano—and that his masterpiece was “Enma”.
5. Enma Testing Zoro’s Strength
All named katana would wait for a worthy swordsman to wield them. Each of those swords would choose a worthy swordsman to be their master. From his past, Zoro also concluded that Enma didn't do what he wanted to hurt Zoro. The sword wants to test whether Zoro deserves to use it or not.
Remembering that Oden had used Enma at will, then rremembering his promise to Luffy and Kuina to become the number one swordsman in the world, Zoro let go of all his doubts and put all his ability to tame Enma and defeat King.
Zoro unknowingly used haoshoku haki and knocked down Kaido's men. After being asked by King if it was haoshoku, Zoro finally realized and admitted that he also had haoshoku haki. The battle between Zoro and King continues to the next chapter!
