MADS (short for "Molecular Antagonist Development Study") is a secret organization that appears in the One Piece story, especially in the Reverie saga and Wano Country Arc. MADS consists of a group of genius scientists who aim to explore and develop dangerous technologies, including experiments with genetics and the creation of biological weapons.

There are 5 MADS members who have been revealed in One Piece. They are Dr. Vegapunk, Vinsmoke Judge, Scien (Queen), Caesar Clown, and Buckingham Stussy. In the One Piece Vivre Card Visual Dictionary, the ages of these five scientists are revealed after the time skip. Here is the list:

• Vegapunk: 65 years old
• Vinsmoke Judge: 56 years old
• Scien (Queen): 56 years old
• Caesar Clown: 55 years old
• Buckingham Stussy: 76 years old

The reason Stussy could be a clone of Buckingham Stussy is because Vegapunk was once his co-worker. It could be that the clone was indeed made with the permission of Miss Buckingham.
