One Punch Man: World will cease service at the end of February 2026. The developer announced via its official account that the game's servers will be shut down on February 27, 2026, marking the end of support after nearly two years since its global launch. The game is available for iOS, Android, and PC devices, but after that date, players will no longer be able to log in or play the game.
Starting mid-January 2026, a number of changes have been implemented in preparation for the shutdown. In-game purchases and top-up functions have been disabled, and new account registration has been closed. The game has also been removed from all major digital stores such as the App Store, Google Play, and PC platforms, preventing new users from downloading and creating new accounts. Players who already own World Silver or World Gold will still be able to use these currencies until the servers are completely offline.
Following the official end of service, the One Punch Man: World website and social media accounts will also be shut down, ending all public communication channels for the game. However, customer support will remain active until March 29, 2026, to assist players with any questions or assistance needs following the server shutdown.
One Punch Man: World was developed as a 3D action game based on the One Punch Man anime/manga license by Perfect World Entertainment in collaboration with Crunchyroll Games. The game immerses players in the One Punch Man universe, featuring characters like Saitama, Genos, and other heroes, complete with real-time combat and role-playing mechanics in environments adapted from the original story.
Despite capitalizing on the popular franchise, the game experienced declining player interest and insufficient revenue to sustain its long-term operation. With the closure of the service, the One Punch Man: World project becomes one example of a live-service game that failed to achieve longevity in the global market, despite being based on a popular series.
