As one of Indonesia's representatives, ONIC faced a bitter defeat when they faced their compatriots, Alter Ego, in the Knockout Stage. ONIC suffered another defeat against Alter Ego and were sent down to the Lower Bracket.

While ONIC's elimination from the M7 World Championship hasn't been confirmed, a major test awaits them as a titanic PH duel also takes place in the Knockout stage. AURORA PH defeated Team Liquid PH, setting ONIC up to face Team Liquid PH. A loss would mean ONIC's elimination from the M7 World Championship would be a reality, but a win would guarantee their continued journey.

Defeated by Team Liquid PH, ONIC Eliminated from the M7 World Championship!

The match between ONIC and Team Liquid PH in the Lower Bracket Round 1 took place on Thursday, January 22, 2026. As previously mentioned, this match would determine whether ONIC would be eliminated from the M7 World Championship or whether Skylar and his teammates would continue their journey. A similar scenario was true for Team Liquid PH after their defeat to their compatriots, AURORA PH, forced KarlTzy and his teammates into the Lower Bracket.

Game 1 saw a fierce duel unfold between the two teams. Intense teamfights ensued, with endless duels taking place on all sides. As the mid-game approached, Team Liquid PH managed to gain the upper hand, capturing two turtles and destroying several enemy turrets. Meanwhile, ONIC had yet to mount a significant offensive. Team Liquid PH secured the first Lord, but KarlTzy and his teammates quickly launched an onslaught.

OnIC, struggling to defend, began to feel cornered after KarlTzy defeated Sanz and Lutpii. The Lord was eventually stopped, but ONIC held on. Taking a breath, Team Liquid PH again pounded ONIC's defense. Two ONIC players were lost, and Lord slowly made his way in. ONIC repeatedly managed to defend their base. However, Team Liquid PH's swift attacks cornered Kairi and his teammates. Sanz was taken down, ONIC lost control, and Team Liquid PH ultimately secured Game 1.

Team Liquid PH once again dominated Game 2 early on. OHEB's Sora play seemed to hamper ONIC's movement. The advantage held Team Liquid PH, but ONIC appeared to fail to launch counterattacks several times. Lord was secured, and Team Liquid PH took the opportunity to end the game. Lord was stopped, and the battle between the two teams continued. OHEB managed to take down Lutpii. Kiboy disappeared, leaving three ONIC players remaining as Team Liquid PH waited for their minion wave to arrive. Kairi and Skylar were taken down, but Team Liquid PH seemed reluctant to end the game.

The fight for the third Lord proved crucial. Kairi and Skylar disappeared, the wave was secured, and Team Liquid PH finally secured match point. ONIC began to make a comeback in Game 3, with the Yi-Sun-Shin and Lunox combo appearing to be effectively utilized. The dominance continued, with Team Liquid PH players struggling this time. Yi-Sun-Shin Kairi was unstoppable, and ONIC refused to fall easily to their opponents. Lord was secured, and ONIC moved quickly to turn the tide.

ONIC finally secured their first point. Match point remained in Team Liquid PH's hands, leading 2-1. Game 4 saw a more passive play for both teams. However, Team Liquid PH secured possession, increasing ONIC's chances of falling in M7. One by one, ONIC's defensive turrets disappeared, and Team Liquid PH gained the upper hand. Two Lords failed to cripple ONIC's defense.

Teamfights broke out again in the mid area. Sanz was crippled by KarlTzy, Lutpii disappeared, and ONIC's defense was fragile. Kairi was left trying to survive, however, was wiped out and Team Liquid PH managed to get a Wipeout, sealing their victory perfectly and with this result ONIC was eliminated from the M7 World Championship, the only Indonesian representative remaining was Alter Ego Esports.
