The Grand Final of MPL Indonesia Season 15 (MPL ID S15) was held on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at the Jakarta International Velodrome, East Jakarta. The Grand Final of MPL ID S15 brought together two teams, namely ONIC Esports against RRQ Hoshi. The journey of both teams throughout the MPL ID S15 playoff round was extraordinary.

ONIC Esports, began their journey in the MPL ID S15 playoffs by facing Team Liquid ID. With the prowess of Kairi and his friends, ONIC eliminated Team Liquid ID with a score of 3-1 and advanced to the next round. In the Upper Bracket Semifinal match, ONIC faced Geek Fam.

Just like facing Team Liquid ID, ONIC also managed to make Geek Fam submit to them with a score of 3-1. Geek Fam had to go down to the Lower Bracket. Meanwhile, on the other hand, RRQ Hoshi began their journey in the playoff round by facing Alter Ego in the Upper Bracket Semifinals.

RRQ managed to defeat Alter Ego with a score of 3-1 and faced ONIC in the Upper Bracket Final. The RRQ vs ONIC match also took place in the Upper Bracket Final round, again, ONIC managed to defeat RRQ with a score of 3-1 and made RRQ drop to the Lower Bracket Final.

RRQ dropped to the Lower Bracket Final where they will face Geek Fam who managed to defeat Alter Ego in the previous round. In this MPL ID S15, the Lower Bracket Final round was played in best of 7 (BO7) series mode. Refusing to lose and release the MSC 2025 Esports World Cup ticket, RRQ managed to defeat Geek Fam with a score of 4-1 and won a ticket to the Grand Final.

End Fierce Duel Against RRQ Hoshi, ONIC Wins MPL ID S15

The Grand Final Round of MPL Indonesia Season 15 (MPL ID S15) took place on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at the Jakarta International Velodrome. Two new teams, RRQ Hoshi and ONIC will fight again where the winner will get the champion title and claim the first Immortal Cup trophy in MPL Indonesia.

In game 1, RRQ tried to hold the advantage in the early game. However, ONIC was still able to retaliate and began to turn things around. With Lord successfully stolen by ONIC, Kairi and his friends tried to open their way to victory. Slowly RRQ's defense began to be disarmed.

The fight for the second Lord became a high price for RRQ. Savero, managed to get two players. Kairi got Lord, Dyrennn was defeated. Momentum was created for ONIC Esports. Straight push was carried out, Lord managed to penetrate the RRQ base and the Sang Raja players began to be cornered.

Teamfight raged, Savero shone again, however, RRQ managed to push back ONIC. The game continued, teamfight occurred again in the 16th minute, RRQ was cornered where Dyrennn and Rinz were defeated. ONIC managed to push back RRQ, opening the way to victory.

Sutsujin was left alone, wipeout occurred and finally ONIC got game 1. Entering game 2, ONIC managed to take control in the early over RRQ. The brilliant play from Savero and Kairi was the key. Lord managed to fall into ONIC's hands, ready to attack RRQ's defense.

RRQ managed to hold Lord, teamfight broke out in the 12th minute. Kiboy was gone, Savero knocked down Dyrennn and RINZ also disappeared. Savero became a hero again, however ONIC had not ended the game. The second Lord was successfully obtained by ONIC, RRQ had to defend again.

ONIC took advantage of the unbalanced conditions. RRQ's base was successfully stripped, finally game 2 was successfully obtained by ONIC. In game 3, RRQ went on a rampage. ONIC seemed to be given no room to breathe. RRQ's fast play seemed to make it difficult for ONIC this time.

With just one attack with Lord, RRQ managed to destroy ONIC's base and finally RRQ got their first point. In game 4, both teams seemed to be competing fiercely. The battle had been going on since the beginning of the game, however, both teams were quite balanced.

Objective control became RRQ's focus, ONIC's defenses were disarmed one by one. Turtle was completely controlled by RRQ, ONIC seemed a bit confused in this game. The first Lord fell into RRQ's hands, a full attack was prepared. Lord was dropped, Toyy got Kiboyy.

A full-risk attack, ONIC managed to open up the momentum for a counterattack. However, both teams tried to play more passively. RRQ managed to get the second Lord, a straight push was made, ONIC tried to defend. Lord managed to penetrate ONIC's base, again, RRQ was not reckless in finishing.

Teamfight happened in the 15th minute, Kiboyy and Lutpii were taken down. Sanz, managed to get Dyrennn. Wave slowly entered, RRQ insisted on ending the game. Kairi was left unable to do anything and finally RRQ got the second point.

Game 5 began, this game became quite crucial for both teams to secure match point. RRQ Hoshi was increasingly consistent in maintaining their game tempo, the early game was successfully controlled. ONIC was increasingly made helpless, the opportunity to win began to open up for RRQ Hoshi.

The second Lord was successfully secured, RRQ swiftly attacked ONIC's base. Toyy's performance from game to game was increasingly extraordinary. Important initiations were successfully obtained, two ONIC players disappeared. Kairi was left, unable to do anything and RRQ managed to get game 5 as well as match point.

Game 6, became the deciding game for RRQ. At the beginning of the match, RRQ managed to take control. However, moving towards the mid game, the match became more intense and both teams waited for each other to make a mistake. There were several misplays made by RRQ that were successfully utilized by ONIC.

The moment to make a comeback was open, as a result ONIC strengthened their game command. The fight for the third Lord became a disaster for RRQ, Savero managed to take down Dyrennn. WanWan in Savero's hands went crazy, RRQ was increasingly cornered and the path to victory was open for ONIC.

Rinz and Toyy were left, ONIC managed to bring the match to game 7. Game 7 began, ONIC seemed to bring out its best draft. RRQ on the other hand, tried to keep up with the remaining options. The victory in the previous game seemed to spur ONIC's spirit to become champions.

Dominating from the start, ONIC's strength was unstoppable. RRQ tried to play more carefully, but the advantage remained in ONIC's hands. The second Lord was successfully obtained, ONIC tried to attack the RRQ Hoshi base again. Sanz managed to get Rinz, Lord walked from above, managed to penetrate towards the RRQ base.

One last push, the onslaught of Lord and ONIC's wave minions was unstoppable and finally ONIC became the champion of MPL ID S15. ONIC reclaimed their throne as champions, the Heavenly King rose again to seize glory this season. What an extraordinary victory.
