The M7 World Championship continues with the Swiss Stage entering Round 3, which will determine the fate of the teams: will they advance to the Knockout round (High), will they advance to the next round (Mid), or will they be eliminated from the competition (Low). Continuing their fight, the Indonesian representative team, ONIC, will face Team Spirit in the Swiss Stage M7 World Championship Round 3 - Mid. Previously, ONIC surprisingly lost to Yangon Galacticos (YG). Meanwhile, Team Spirit suffered a similar fate, losing to Malaysian giants, Selangor Red Giants, putting the two teams in the Mid bracket.

The match between ONIC and Team Spirit took place on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. As we know, several matches in Round 3 of the Swiss Stage M7 World Championship were held on Monday, January 12, 2026. The Indonesian representative, ONIC, had to capitalize on this opportunity. If ONIC lost to Team Spirit, their position in the Swiss Stage would be even more disadvantageous.

Facing Team Spirit, ONIC once again played in a best-of-one (BO1) series. This meant that if they let their guard down and Team Spirit took the lead, ONIC would lose again. Against Team Spirit, ONIC used a draft of Kalea, Lancelot, Kadita, Lapu Lapu, and Bruno. Meanwhile, Team Spirit used Leomord, Pharsa, Esmeralda, Claude, and Chou.

Team Spirit appeared to have the upper hand early in the game. However, ONIC gradually balanced out and secured the first two turtles. The two teams were evenly matched by the mid-game. Slowly, Team Spirit began to take the lead and secured the first Lord. One by one, ONIC's defensive blocks were captured, and Team Spirit took control of the game. Team Spirit's Esmeralda and Leomord combo seemed to be working well.

The battle for the second Lord was intense. Team Spirit successfully pushed back ONIC's players, and the second Lord fell once again to Kidbomba and his teammates. Team Spirit moved quickly to attack ONIC's base, but Leomord's Oneshot initiative claimed another victim. The minion wave entered, and ONIC players fell one by one, with two kills contributed by Kidbomba's Esmeralda, ultimately leading to ONIC's defeat in Round 3 of the Swiss Stage M7 World Championship.

With one chance remaining, ONIC must not waste the opportunity to fight in Rounds 4 and 5, which will undoubtedly be even tougher. Hopefully, this result won't burden Kairi and his teammates.
