"Arittake no yume wo kakiatsume... Sagashimono wo sagashi ni yuku no sa... One Piece!". Ys, it is a piece of lyrics from the song “We Are” that served as the first and the 10th opening song for One Piece. This song is sung by Hiroshi Kitadani and managed to remember thousands of people on One Piece. Now Dunia Games will talk about the proof that the “We Are” song will serve as the last opening for One Piece anime in the future. Have a look!

We Are is the first single by Hiroshi Kitadani that produced by Columbia Music Entertainment. On the anime, the song is cut short to 1 minute 49 seconds, while the original song has 4 minutes long.

At first, this song was used as One Piece opening from the first episode until 49. But as long as the Straw Hat Pirates venture the seas, this song will keep on playing. There are plenty of YouTubers who covered this song with their styles.

In episode 279-283, "We Are" was sung again by all Straw Hat Pirates, and in 2008, Tohoshinki remixed the song to be used as the 10th anime opening, starting from episode 373-394. Then in 2011, Hiroshi Kitadani returned to sing this song with a little bit of remix to serve as the ending of episode 516 before the anime entered time skip.

Attack All's Around (AAA) who sang the "Wake Up" song (17th anime opening) once covered

"We Are" for Nami’s special episode ending. Not only that but Kota Shinzato who sung the anime’s 16th opening also once covered "We Are" for Luffy’s special episode. Then, Hiroshi Kitadani alongside 100 singers sang this song for East Blue anime special on celebrating One Piece’s 20th anniversary.

If we’re talking about "We Are", surely One Piece fans will be nostalgic. Why not? This song had accompanied Luffy’s adventure 20 years ago to the point he met Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji.

The lyrics tell about genuine friendship and it’s very touching, especially on the lyric when it says "Poketto no coin, sore to YOU WANNA BE MY FRIEND?" This song will be forever even after One Piece’s over.

The song’s refrain has a meaning that Luffy and friends will unite their dream and starting to see it all. This song is very memorable and it looks like TOEI will use it again in the future.

Dunia Games is sure that at the end of One Piece, "We Are" will be the last opening song for Luffy and friends' adventure because it's possible that Eiichiro Oda also wanted the same thing. What do you think about this?
