There’s an interesting thing when EVOS Legends was going up against Alter Ego in the MPL ID Season 8 Playoffs lower bracket. EVOS Clover was seen wearing a taqiyah cap, which made him look different.

In the post-match interview, EVOS Clover explained why he wore the cap during the match.

"Last time, when we lost to three comebacks against ONIC Esports, I saw their coach was wearing a taqiyah cap. So, I think I needed to repent.

This item apparently gives 100% luck. I need that extra luck. So, I wore this, and alhamdulillah I was lucky (to win the match)," said Clover.

Although he sees it as luck, EVOS Legends had an undeniably amazing performance. The team advances to the MPL ID Season 8 Playoff lower bracket finals.
