Garena Officially Announces Palembang as Host of the FFNS 2026 Spring Grand Finals

The host of the FFNS 2026 Spring Grand Finals has finally been announced by Garena through Free Fire Esports Indonesia. The announcement was shared during the Free Fire Battle Rush competition on Sunday, February 8, 2026. Garena has finally confirmed that Palembang, South Sumatra, will host the FFNS 2026 Spring Grand Finals, becoming the second city in Sumatra to host the event this year. "Here we are in Palembang! The FFNS 2026 Spring Grand Finals are heading to Palembang!" wrote FF Esports ID.

For your information, the date for the FFNS 2026 Spring Grand Finals has not yet been set by Garena. A total of 12 teams will compete in the Grand Final, with the top team advancing as Indonesia's fifth representative team at the upcoming FFWS SEA 2026 Spring. The exciting news of Palembang's appointment as host of the FFNS 2026 Spring Grand Finals has undoubtedly received an overwhelming response from the Free Fire community and fans in Palembang.

FFNS 2026 Spring Timeline

The Free Fire Nusantara Series (FFNS) 2026 Spring competition is divided into several stages, or rounds, that will be passed by all the best Free Fire players/teams from across Indonesia. The FFNS 2026 Spring competition consists of the following rounds:

• Offline City Qualifier - A qualifying round held live in each city. This time, Garena has expanded the qualifying round to a total of 88 cities across Indonesia. A bigger opportunity, come and achieve your dream of competing at the national level now.
• Region Qualifier - A total of 144 teams from 12 regions will participate in this round. The top 24 teams (two from each region) will advance to the Play-Ins round.
• Online Qualifier - A total of 12 teams from the Final Qualifier will participate in this round. One of the top teams will advance to the Play-Ins round.
• Guild War Qualifier - A total of 24 teams from the Final Qualifier will participate in this round. The four best teams will advance to the Play-Ins round.
• Play-Ins - A total of 36 teams will participate in this round: 24 teams from the Regional Qualifier, one team from the Online Qualifier, four teams from the Guild War Qualifier, and four teams ranked 4th-7th at FFNS 2025 Fall. One team will be the champion of the Mas Sukro Cup Season 2 competition. And one team from the Garena Youth Championship (GYC) 2025 competition. In this round, a total of 36 teams will be divided into three groups of 12. Each group will play six matches, and the top three teams from each group (9 teams) will advance to the Grand Finals.
• Grand Finals - The top 12 teams will compete for a ticket to the FFWS SEA 2026 Spring. Two teams will be from the 2nd and 3rd-placed teams in the FFNS 2025 Fall. One team will be relegated from the FFWS SEA 2025 Fall, and nine teams from the FFNS 2026 Spring Play-Ins.
