With The Contract DLC, Rockstar added a series of new properties and missions to GTA Online. Complete with an epic continuity of the GTA 5 storyline. So, on this occasion, I would like to give you a guide to starting The Contract missions. I’d also like to provide some info about the Agency property to help you decide what to buy.

To unlock The Contract missions, you are required to purchase an Agency. This property will be the headquarters of F. Clinton & Partners, where you will work alongside Franklin in providing solutions for the elites in Los Santos.

Purchase a New Property: Agency

Location isn’t a huge factor that you need to weigh in. Just pick the one that is located the closest to the downtown area. But, if you’re weighing aesthetics and the view, I suggest picking the one located near the Vespucci Canals as you can see the views of the city of Los Santos & Vespucci Beach from inside the building.

However, if accessibility is what you’re prioritizing, you should pick the Agency on Hawick. In that location, both the entrance and the garage are located right on the side of the road. It’s also a great choice if you already own an Arcade or Autoshop in the La Mesa area.

Aside from that, there’s no specific upgrade that you have to buy. But, if you have the money and looking for one that is worth upgrading, I suggest upgrading for an armory and vehicle workshop. Both have features that no other properties offer.

Upgrading for an Armory for your Agency is quite worth doing as it can function as an AmmuNation as well as a Weapon Workshop. Meaning that you can buy weapons, bullets, armors, and upgrade weapons to their MK2 variants. So, it is a useful upgrade for new players given that, previously, Weapon Workshop is only accessible once you buy a Terrorbyte/MOC/Avenger. Thus, by having an armory at your Agency, you’ll save a couple of millions as you won’t have to buy any of those three utility vehicles.

Having a Vehicle workshop is also worth it because you can make special upgrades that aren’t available anywhere else. Such as slick proximity mine, remote control, lock-on jammer, and armor plating. Unfortunately, only four vehicles are eligible for these upgrades, and they are:

• Bravado Buffalo
• Enus Jubilee
• Enus Deity
• Dewbauchee Champion

Security Contracts & VIP Contracts Missions

After purchasing your Agency, you will meet Franklin there. After the cutscene is complete, you can access the computer in the main office. You will see two main categories: Security Contracts and VIP Contracts.

Security Contracts are similar to normal missions, in which you can earn a $30,000 - $60,000 reward with an average playtime of around 10 minutes. You need to complete two missions of Security Contracts to unlock VIP Contracts.

Now, the main missions can be played via VIP Contracts, where you will work together with Franklin to help Dr. Dre.

There are three categories for VIP Contracts: Nightlife Leak, High-Society Leak, and South Central Leak. Each category has three missions that you need to complete. You have to complete all of them to unlock the epic finale. The reward for the last mission is $1,000,000, and you’ll also get rewards from the previous prep missions, which vary between $10,000 - $100,000.

After completing all of the prep missions, you need to wait for a call from Franklin. Only then you’ll be able to access the next missions. One thing you need to remember: do not stay in the Agency while you wait for the call. You can wait outside as more often than not, Franklin doesn’t call the player when they’re inside the Agency.

And, once you complete all of Dr. Dre’s missions, you will be invited to his recording studio and carry out a series of missions where you will play as Franklin and/or Lamar. You can read the guide that I made via the link below:
