Magic Chess is an Arcade mode that is quite popular with Mobile Legends players. FOr those of you who are really into Magic Chess, check out the details from Magic Chess 1.4.88 patch notes, which will remove some synergies and heroes in the game.

In this update, Magic Chess has entered its second season, and Moonton will also include new easy-to-grasp content to further enhance the playing experience since so far, Magic Chess is a bit too complicated for some players. In the second season of Magic Chess, Cadia Tales, there will be new hero rotation, including Yu Zhong. For further detailed info regarding the update, let’s just get straight into it!

Synergy

A new Synergy, Shape-shifter, has been added into the game. The heroes within this Synergy will be greatly enhanced when the synergy is activated. The heroes within the Shape-shifter Synergy are Selena, Zhask, and Yu Zhong.

The Celestial Synergy has been adjusted, 2/4 Synergy adjusted to 3/6. Under the Synergy of 6 Celestial, the heroes will gain extra attack speed.

Temporarily removed: Eruditio and Summoner.

[Yu Zhong]

Newly Added; Dragon Altar/Shape-shifter; Cost 5 gold

Skill: Transforms into the Black Dragon Corm and stuns the enemies collided.

[Luo Yi]

Newly Added; Dragon Altar/Elementalist; Cost 4 gold

Skill: Creates a teleport circle and sends the heroes in stock to the battlefield.

[Cyclops]

Newly Added, Celestial/Mager Cost 3 gold

Skill: Releases waves of stardust and deals damage.

[Minsitthar]

Newly Added; Celestial/Targeman; Cost 2 gold

Skill: Stuns the enemies in front and gains a shield.

[Zhask]

Adjusted; Celestial/Shape-shifter; Cost 4 gold

Skill: Fuses with the Nightmaric Spawn. His skills are enhanced during the fusion period.

[Selena]

Adjusted; Elf/Shape-shifter; Cost 3 gold

Skill: Switches between Abyssal Form and Elven Form.

[Khufra]

Gold cost adjusted from 3 to 2.

[Chou, Diggie, Popol & Kupa, Sun, Baxia, Alice]

Temporarily removed.

Equipment

Last season, Moonton had noticed that the Boots items gave a less-significant effect on the game, and players tend to pick other types of equipment instead. As a result, Boots items are temporarily removed in this season. As a substitute, Spells are added to Magic Chess. Moonton believes that Spells will enrich the player’s game experience.

Newly Added: Inspire - Ignores Physical Defense on the first few attacks.

Newly Added: Revitalize - Summons a Healing Spring when HP is low.

Newly Added: Petrify - Petrifies enemies when HP is low.

Newly Added: Purify - Removes the first Crowd Control.

Newly Added: Flicker - Blinks to the most dangerous position at the beginning of a Round.

Temporarily Removed: Warrior Boots, Tough Boots, Arcane Boots, Swift Boots, Demon Shoes.
