Pear of Anguish in Satan's Slaves 2: Communion
Pear of Anguish is a torture tool from the 16th century, and it was usually used to torture women who are suspected of being witches. In early 1500s Europe, many women were accused of being witches and eventually tortured.
Single and married women who were suspected of possessing some supernatural powers or dabbling in magic were captured and tortured.
Some of them ended up being burned alive. However, before that, they had to endure numerous forms of torture, which would also involve a tool called the Pear of Anguish.
The iron tool will be sprung out once it’s inserted into the suspected witch.
This pear-shaped tool is said to be unlethal, yet it would cause incredible pain as it would be inserted into the victim’s mouth and even other orifices.

Banished by the Pear of Anguish, Was Raminom Actually a Witch?
Raminom was part of the satanic cult and had a striking physical resemblance to Mother. She appears in the mid to the later part of the movie.
During the last parts of Satan's Slaves 2: Communion, there’s a scene where Pak Budiman defeats Raminom by using the Pear of Anguish to banish her.
Because of that scene, fans have been speculating that Raminom was actually a witch who had been around since the medieval era. Some fans even believe that she’s one of the entities that serve as the bridge between Satan and the worshippers.
This theory also says that Raminom was probably someone who gained her powers from Satan, and one of the ways to banish her is by using the Pear of Anguish to recreate her trauma.
However, please bear in mind that this is a mere theory, as none of the things we’ve mentioned above have been confirmed by the creator of the series. Perhaps we can learn more about Raminom in the next Satan's Slaves movie.
