Sony Interactive Entertainment and Sucker Punch Productions announced that sales of the open-world samurai game, Ghost of Tsushima, have so far reached 9.73 million copies. This figure was taken since the game was released until July 3, 2022.

Ghost of Tsushima itself first launched on PS4 on July 17, 2020, then returned to PS5 and PS4 with the new title Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut on August 20, 2021. There are two things that are the selling points of Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, including optimizations for the PlayStation 5 and new expansion content.
