Strongest Swords in One Piece:

1. Shusui

Shusui is a sword belonging to the legendary samurai Ryuma and is one of the O Wazamono swords which are considered the sacred treasures of Wano Country. After being defeated by Zoro, Ryuma gave this sword to him proudly.

The sword itself is so dense, resilient, and heavy, making Shusui have extraordinary strength. Zoro can even withstand and parry Oars' giant punch with ease.

Like Sandai Kitetsu, Shusui is also considered "hot-tempered" by Zoro which makes it difficult to use. Not only that, but Shusui is much heavier than Yubashiri which is very light so Zoro has to get used to it.

After his training with Dracule Mihawk, Shusui seems to be Zoro's favorite sword. He always uses it on the Ittouryuu (one-sword) technique, compared to Zoro always using Wado Ichimonji in the past.

2. Wado Ichimonji

Originally Wado Ichimonji was Kuina's sword, but now Zoro uses that sword and has accompanied his adventures from childhood until now. This sword is one of the 21 legendary O Wazamono.

Zoro used to place Wado Ichimonji in his mouth when using the Santoryu technique. When using the Ittoryu Iai: Shishi Sonson stance with this sword, Zoro can easily cut Mr.1's steel body. Tashigi had chased Zoro because he didn't want a legendary sword like this to be carried around by a pirate.

3. Sandai Kitetsu

Sandai Kitetsu is another Zoro's O Wazamono-type sword. And like all swords made by Kitetsu, this sword is considered a cursed sword that will harm its owner.

Zoro got this sword in Loguetown. Initially, the sword was not for sale because it was cursed, but Zoro managed to prove that he could beat the curse and was finally rewarded with Sandai Kitetsu and Yubashiri. Even though he wasn't hurt during the test, Zoro felt that Sandai Kitetsu was a bloodthirsty sword and made his hand move by itself.

Sandai Kitetsu is a sword made by Kitetsu which actually means the third generation Kitetsu sword. Despite being a very sturdy sword, according to Tashigi's sword catalog, each generation of Kitetsu's swords is made weaker, with Sandai being the weakest and Shodai Kitetsu being the most powerful cursed sword.

4. Nidai Kitetsu

Nidai Kitetsu is a high-ranking sword that is also the second strongest of Kitetsu if judging from its strength. So strong, Luffy, who can't even use a sword, can beat several people with this sword. Like Enma, this sword is actually cursed. It is said that its users will end tragically.

But that doesn't stop Zoro from batting his eye at this sword. Unfortunately, he was never able to try using this sword because it was held by the Beasts Pirates when Luffy lost the first time to Kaido.

5. Ame no Habakiri

Ame no Habakiri is one of the two swords that Kozuki Oden uses to fight. Like Enma, this is a sword that can hurt Kaido. Ame no Habakiri was passed on to Momonosuke. Even though it is said to be a sword that can split the sky, Momonosuke feels unworthy of using this sword. Currently, nobody uses it.

6. Enma

Enma is the other sword used by Kozuki Oden. If Ame no Habakiri is passed on to Momonosuke, then Enma is passed on to Hiyori. Hiyori then gave this sword to Zoro in exchange for Zoro returning Shusui to Ryuma's grave. This dangerous sword can absorb the life energy of its wielder unless they are strong enough to resist it.

Thanks to Enma, Zoro was able to deal permanent damage to Kaido. This sword is also capable of splitting a mountain in half.

7. Yoru

A strong sword can be useful if wielded by a strong warrior too! Yes, that's what makes Yoru have a fierce and soft side. With its strength, Yoru can split huge icebergs up to giant Galleon ships.

9. Ace

The King of the Pirates, Gol D. Roger, once had a sword that he always uses to fight. This sword had not been seen when he first met Rayleigh who invited him to sail. This sword was only seen when Roger already had many crew members and met Kozuki Oden.

10. Gryphon

Being a weapon used by Shanks, Gryphon has many advantages. Gryphon was first shown in episode 151 of the anime when Shanks confronted Shirohige to be precise.

Gryphon is longer than most other swords with a green hilt. Shanks keeps it in a blue sheath on his right waist. The name Gryphon is taken from the legendary beast, Griffin.
