Tips on Using Maxim

As one of the oldest characters in Free Fire, Maxim’s skill is still less strong compared to the others. On the maximum level, Maxim can only reduce the mushroom consuming time and Medkit for 12% or around 0,5 seconds. Even though still below new characters like Alok and Jota, Maxim’s still useful in emergencies. To maximize Maxim’s skill effects, you can try these tips:

1. Use Ottero/Shiba/Spirit Fox as Your Pet

Ottero’s skill, Double Blubber, can restore EP when using Treatment Gun or Med Kit. On the maximum level, the amount of EP gained is the same as 50% of the HP restored. If combined with Maxim’s skill that able to use Medkits faster, you can get 2 healing effects on HP and EP faster.

Shiba’s skill, Mushroom Sense, can mark one of the mushrooms around you on the map every 180 seconds. On the maximum level, the mark on the map will be visible for 30 seconds and skill cooldown can reduce up to 150 seconds. Maxim and Shiba combination can help you finding and eating mushrooms so fast.

Spirit Fox’s skill, Well Fed, can give an additional 4 HP upon using Medical Kit. The healing effect will become 7 HP on the maximum level. If this skill is combined with Maxim, you can use Medkits faster and your health will be larger than your opponent’s.

2. Pair Him With Kelly

Maxim’s skill is more prioritizing on survival rather than killing enemies so a defensive strategy is more suitable to him. With Kelly’s Dash skill, Maxim can run faster. Use the hit and run strategy. Shoot your enemies when you’re HP is full, and if you’re HP is getting low, run and find a place to hide to use Medkits. Aside from this strategy, Kelly’s skill also useful for Maxim to run into a mushroom, eat, and run again before getting hit. Remembering that Maxim is simping for Kelly, surely Maxim is happy to be paired with Kelly.

3. Pair Him With Andrew
