The Dunia Games Awards 2021 awarding event is over. The event, which was held by Telkomsel through Dunia Games, came as a form of appreciation to keep pushing the spirit for all people to keep on contributing to the development of one of the sectors in the national creative economy. After all the nominees were chosen by the people through voting on December 1 to 4, 2021 yesterday, finally, the nominees from 16 categories and one Lifetime Achievements had been announced in Dunia Games Awards 2021.

The election of Eddy Lim who is the Founder & Former President of the Indonesia Esports Association (IESPA) (2013-2021) as the recipient of the 2021 DGA Lifetime Achievement cannot be separated from the large contribution and dedication that has been given in advancing the game and esports industry in the country so far.

In addition to the ceremonial awarding of awards to the winners, DGA 2021 also presents various shows that can be enjoyed by game enthusiasts and the Indonesian people, where this event is also presented as an effort to attract the interest of the general public to be able to explore the Indonesian gaming and esports ecosystem. Various shows were presented, including charity fun matches, cosplay parades, to entertaining music shows.

Along with the 2021 DGA moment, Telkomsel through the video-on-demand content platform MAXstream also presents original documentary content entitled "Indonesian Esports Legend - Push It Down!" which can be watched exclusively on MAXstream. Through this original content, Telkomsel wants to show the development of Indonesia's game and esports industry which was initially underestimated so that it can develop into one of the sectors that contribute to gross domestic product (GDP) in 2020.
